im installing my EBC brakes( finally got them after 3 weeks(boom06) )

and the shop selling them tells me i should use copper anti seize instead of hi temp grease.

he even lends me his own copper anti-seize and tells me to try it out.. he tells me i will put this every 2 years instead of every year with normal grease.

so i read the label behind it.. it's good for 950 Celsius and seems to be good..

any of you ever tried this s*** out? i dont want to **** up those brakes as there NOt cheap.

should i go grease or copper anti seize?

lie 15 views and no answers?

do those 15 car owners never did grease up those sliders?

I'm using Permatex Ultra Disc Brake Caliper Lube (#22063) to lube my sliders. Since I participate in lapping and autocross events, I lube my brakes every spring and fall. Also each time I do a brake job since I have everything apart.

Disponible chez Canadian Tire.

you got to make sure its for brakes cuz a lot of grease could be for high temp but for diff stuff instead of the brakes you know.
I use the silver permandex 1200 C or something.

I m not exactly sure what the stuff is called but if you goto pepboys or autozone they have awesome stuff. The jar says Synthetic caliper grease. We use it at my shop, and never had any problems. But everybody has their own preference. Oh, and when you put the grease on make sure you dont glob it on, just enough to cover the caliper slides. what i usually do is just put a nice coat on the end of the pads. That way you dont risk getting any of the grease on the rotor or the pad material itself.
