What header is this?

edit: It is a Racing Mazda 4 2 1 header. Looks like there is supposed to be a test pipe/high flow cat that goes inline with this. Does anyone know where I could get a gasket for this?

Just got a 2002 Protege5. It came with an aftermarket exhaust that the Original owner installed. The PO replaced the header with a stock part as well as the OEM midpipe and catayltic converter. It has a thermal R&D catback on it right now and I'm thinking of reinstalling this aftermarket header. Does anyone know which header this is? Where can I get a gasket for it? Will it replace the factory mid pipe/cat and does it run without a cat?

it'll eliminate both cats from your car. some copper rtv should hold you over til you can find a gasket

It appears to be missing the hardware also from these pictures (I still have to go pick it up from the PO). What kind of hardware should I use for this? Where could I source a gasket for this header?

The egr isn't gonna line up either. Flexy hot water heater pipe from home depot to the rescue.............and I got an extra set of those tails for you, cheap.

If your talking about where the 2 pipes connect, it looks pretty similar to the d series Honda header I had, I'll dig around later and see if I kept the old gasket.

If not go to a parts store and some of them sell a sheet you can buy and make a custom gasket with it

Are you positive that it won't line up? According to the P.O. this was installed on the car when they bought it.

Yes that's the part I'm talking about. I'll also need a gasket for the part that the PO cannot find at the moment, which is the 'test pipe' section that goes between the mid pipe and cat back.

Fairly positive, at least with oem egr pipe. Look at the angle of the egr nipple on the header you have, it is angled down, not parallel to the flange. Now look at the lack of angle of the egr nipple on the OBX using the oem EGR pipe in the pic. The egr nipple is parallel to ground and header flange, not at any angle..........

Here's some more pics where you can see the angle better, scroll down in the link........
