What have you done to your P5 today?

what are good options for control arm replacements???

ready......set......GO

I got the Dorman ones, they're roughly $45 per side (from rockauto). So far they've been fine, I've had them on for about a month and a half.

They look identical to the OEM ones, the only difference is that the welds might be a little less clean. I had a bad experience when I ordered some made by Beck/Arnley, the welds were horrible, on one of them the ball joint was loose, and on the other the smaller of the two bushings was pressed in too far. I couldn't believe a company could sell such garbage.

If you're looking for something a bit fancier, you can get ones with harder bushings from a company named "hardrace" (search the forums and ebay) but they cost almost as much as OEM replacements.

Got new headlights today, and began the re-retrofitting process. And the results are awesome!

^^ Those came out really nice, but that sure is some sad lookin' pavement.

I put in a corksport ss clutch line. oh my god what a difference. my old one was a little leaky so i had very little clutch actuation goin' on.
So far, the most satisfying $18 and 20min ive ever spent working on the car.

Gotta say it's pretty fun stuff... especially i'm not the mechanic type... totally different than my profession(fixing computers)... fixing engines is a lot more dirtier

got pretty much everything on the top half back together except the fuel rail... gotta stop by napa and find new o-rings for my 550cc mopar injectors... also gonna stop by napa to pick up the o-ring for the oil pump then i can finish assembling the bottom half... but today i got the turbo mounted back on, the cams in, and the intake manifold w/NSN spacer installed.

I bought a rear window motor from a member on here for $39 shipped since my window wasn't working. As I pulled the door trim off I noticed I forgot to hook up the window switch last time I pulled the speakers. Plugged it back in and bingo, window works fine. Doh! Haha

Speaking of window switches. Has anyone ever tried to put an auto switch (like the one that runs the drivers window) in to run the passengers side window? I think it would be handy to be able to just hit both switches and have both front windows go down automatically. This should work right?

Started adjusting my headlights yesterday. Got my passenger side perfected, Can't get the driver side to go low enough. The adjustment screw doesn't adjust. I turn and turn and nothing. Starting to think something isn't connecting right

I've got the HardRace ones for the 323 on my P5. They look like the ones I had from RockAuto on my other P5 but with stiffer bushings. I'm not so sure they are worth the coin though. I noticed the rear was stiffer after I put the GT Spec trialing arms but not so much with the front control arms. I liked the ones I got from Rockauto.

808, looks good and glad you're having fun, mate. Take some clearer pics though. Haha

random question.

do they even make test pipes for our cars? so we can remove the cat?

I gave my P5 a little break today before I run up to NY tonight. So I took the RX8 to work today. :)

same here with my retros. one adjust more than the other :/

try adjusting the horizontal turning the screw counter clockwise (loosening it to make it go outwards) then adjust the height (vertical) screw and it should help out a lot.
one thing i've noticed on the protege adjustment screws it...they kinda suck..the little rubber plastic grommet that adjusts the screws are really crappy :/
especially the P5 light's...they tend to bend and screw up in hot heat.

^ Thanks! I'm planning on taking my bumper off to readjust it. When I do, I will remove my headlight and take a better look at everything
