What have you done to your P5 today?

The last 2 days I was able to use the P5 as a moving van. My, oh my can you ft a lot in to these cars. But, my camera was packed so I couldn't get evidence and the camera on my phone decided to punk out on me. I was impressed

In other news, the HIDs are in and aimed properly to avoid pissing off everyone and here are the results. Ignore the crappy quality, these were taken this past weekend when my phone's camera decided it wanted one last hoorah! I'll get some better one's here soon.

Nice, I need to aim mine a bit higher. I pointed them down too far. Where do your brights hit the ground? Right now mine hit just in view in front of the car like fog lights, lol. I think I went a bit too far down pointing the lows. I have not even used the fogs or brights since getting the lows done. So pointless I'm thinking of doing fog deletes but I kinda laugh when toggling the brights with fogs on because it just makes the brights and fogs switch back and forth while the low beam HIDs stay on the whole time.


Oh, today I actually drove the car to work for the first time in a coupla weeks.........

What I did today?

Picked up my block with forged goodies.
Aries 8.5:1 .020 overbore
Pauter Rods
ARP Main Studs
Full ACL bearings And Thrust Washers

Installed ARP Head Studs and Cometic ML Gasket

Gave it some HEAD(w/5 angle valve cut, Eibach EVS) and torqued it down

And installed ARP Exhaust Manifold Studs

you will regret using those arias pistons with big boost, def should have went with wiseco or cp

please specify your correction. Have seen countless arias pistons break near the edge of the valve reliefs. mspeedp5 has been through two sets, I believe maxx has been through a set (dont remember exactly), and so have others.

I like learning exactly why I am wrong besides it just being thrown in my face.

EDIT: he has had three sets crack all in the same place. Sounds as if the thin area around the valve land is too thin and cracks under aggressive timing. And the FS-DE is not the only engine to have problems with these pistons.

Lol, the brights hit really low. Not quite into the fogs, but pretty close. But this is a 55W kit, so it still throws far. I have the bottom of the lows hitting right at the top of the fogs and eventually I'll get around to putting in the HID kit I have for the fogs. I do a lot of night/early morning driving, so I like the brightness. Eventually I'll be switching over to projectors. I'm thinking of doing a quad bi-xenon. I've seen it done online, but never in person.

Damn guess I'll replace down stream since I already got it then the upstream

Checked all sensors took out o2. Finally was able to take off egr valve and change it with a different one. Checked for vacuum leaks and Nothing. Cleaned maf and took our cam sensor and it looks normal

I bought a rear window motor from a member on here for $39 shipped since my window wasn't working. As I pulled the door trim off I noticed I forgot to hook up the window switch last time I pulled the speakers. Plugged it back in and bingo, window works fine. Doh! Haha
