What have you done to your P5 today?

yup.

i had a similar thing happen with firestone.

something tells me they either sell complete crap, or not the correct alternator for the protege.

the ecu regulates the alternator on the protege.

i got a oem mazda alternator and all was fixed
.

How much did that run?

got it done through the dealership since firestone was fail.

something like $400. (i didnt have a jack and it was the middle of winter)

but i got my money back from firestone since they suck balls, so it could have been worse.

Realized one of my Toyo Proxes TPT's was mounted incorrectly (recently sustained a flat), so took it to Town Fair Tire so they can remount it correctly (rotational tires). While there, I had them also rotate the wheel/tires. Was checking out my car, while waiting, and realized my rear hatch wiper blade is torn. I've decided to replace the entire arm/blade with a newer, sleeker one...like the Mazda6 wagon's, but I'm also considering the Mazda5's. Anybody try one yet?

Thanks,

Thanks,

They mounted a directional tire backwards?? Wtf, I would never go back to that place...

And the Mazda6 wiper is a common mod. Many people have done it. They look great.

I hear ya'! However, I don't think the place I purchased the tires mounted it incorrectly. Since I recently sustained a flat, another local shop had done the fix, so THAT'S the place I'll be sure to avoid. ;-)

Thought about washing it but changed my mind also my car like's to backfire sounds awesome.Price drop on the turbo kit buy me!

just go with the tried and true mazda6 wiper. they are the same design/look anyways.

so i did a ton of research, even on different forums, and found something that sounds exactly like my problem
car drives great under WOT but stumbles while cruising, according to the mustang forums, this is a sign of a bad TPS, so ill check the voltage and the resistance of that tomorrow, and hopefully that is the problem

Im having the opposite problems right now. Drives good while cruising but goes hella lean while in wot. then back to normal when I keep on the throttle.

Im going to try and replace the fuel filter. lol

hmmm, that's weird, let me know how that goes
i may have to replace mine pretty soon too, i get some lean spots at idle sometimes, like my car will be idling 14.6-ish AFR's, then it'll work its way up slowly to 17-18, then i have to give some gas or it'll stall
only happened like once or twice, but thats enough to bug me lol

washed, clayed, glazed, waxed.
its amazingly shiny and awesome.
unfortunately the projectors are still aimed to low and apparently its adjusted to its max...but its barely lighting up my path....gotta go to Matt's house and see what he can do to make it better :(

thats probably so.
i'll prob meet up with ya sometime or something and i'll prob take a test drive with ya so you can see if they too low or if they are the same as when you had em.

either way the output itself is awesome. its badass actually. and my car looks like a freaking samurai at night ,cause the DG lip part that extends lower on the sides look like the fang thingy on samurai masks. its freaking badass lols
