What have you done to your P5 today?

this isn't the "word association game" thread. At least make a token effort of staying on topic.

i sprayed a bunch of bolts with pb blaster today! stuff is reeking up my garage pretty bad, but o well.

I overlooked my wagon today for knicks dents and anymore curb damage ha ha. She is a good driver....but only in MY car! Because she knows I will whoop that ass! Lol juuuuuust kidding

I have nothing to do with my time now! No car to modify. I think its time for some custom fogs and black suede headliner/ and A B C D E F G pillars also. Its a wagon so I don't know what you call all the other tan things. Ha ha

20 cm of snow here so we took my friend's Legacy, 4WD was 4TW in this crap! Everyone spun all over the place, so no P5 today. Still 15 cm to come tonight... Have I ever mentionned something about disliking this season?

So...ended up picking up my 08 Speed3 seats today...I think I like them better than the all cloth ones that are in there right now...also got the rear seats as well...

Just wondering...has anyone else put the rear Speed3 seats in the back of the P5...I know it will be a good bit of work, but hopefully it will be worth it...

Also was wondering whether the Speed3 calipers/rotor setup would work on the car...anyone done this...any difference...

Thanks once again...

^^^ I don't see how they will work without a large effort. I mean, it's almost a given that the MS3 and P5 rear seats are completely different sizes and shapes so it's unlikely one will just slide over the other. I imagine it's going to require a large amount of cutting, trimming and sewing to make it work. You're probably just better off getting a set of custom seat covers (not the crap you buy at Walmart but the actual seat covers - the fabric that covers the foam, etc.)

Actually drove the car for the 1st time in 2 weeks today. So radically different from the prerunner with 31s & the rav4 6 cyl hot rod. Felt like home.

I don't have the car back yet...I was supposed to get it back from insurance all fixed up Tuesday and on the way they said...not ready...I will have to check when it gets back as far as the fitment...

I am sure that cutting/trimming is going to be required, but have a feeling I may be able to make it work...as long as it is around the $300 range to actually get the work done then I will definitely get it done...

I have been thinking it up ever since I put the fronts in there...I just think it would be great looking...also wouldn't mind being one of the first...if not the first to do it...

edit- didn't realize it is from an 03, and not 03.5

so, round exhaust tip is FTW

hopefully gonna pick it up when we go down to his area to get our taxes done

Mine developed some rust at the tip, albeit over the course of 4 years, but still makes me sad.

I must do something about exhaust this year. (huh)

edit: Actually, I really want some mint MP3 exhaust for me. Mmmm...

This is the 2nd time I've had to say this tonight, but:

You probably want to see a doctor about that.

I say go for the ms3 seats in the rear

I swear, a lot of people on this forum are afraid to do something unless there is a how to or straight bolt on or if it hasn't been done before. Be different and go for it.

I think it will fit, you will just have to drill new holes. I am think the ms3 seats are a lil taller though. The only thing I see is the curve on the seat edges *by the panels* may be different so it might not be as snug fit. But you can fix that.

I want to do ms6 seats in mine. If I can find some, I am going to do it

i agree with people being afraid to do things that aren't direct bolt on, but it comes down to money really. but i say go for the seats too, im sure they will fit after some modification.

I am definitely going to go for it...I also like the newer seats as opposed to the all cloth Speed3 seats I had before...now just need to get the car back...lol...
