What have you done to your P5 today?

Put on my Espelier springs And my Tokico blues. WOW what a difference.
Also replaced front end links ,no more clunk clunk.

That's a great combo...You'll love it more and more....

For me...Installed DGM Front lip....and started a new list of crap to install....

in the mail...rear strut bar, clear corners, and shift boot
in the closet....PnP intake manifold...rear motor mount...

That's the combo I want sooooo bad, but my wallet and wife keep telling me no. :(

I went ahead and ordered the Roof Rack/Rail Delete Kit CTt3P5! Thanks for all the info on the parts needed! I appreciate it! Although I'm not going to be installing them. I decided to trade them for the racks and rails from Crazy D.

looks like it added weight and will keep more heat in.. I don't understand.

Also, why would you put sound deadener on your hood? Sub in the engine bay?

I'll give you haters a multiple choice quiz on the exact weight added...

a) 3.5 lbs
b) 3.5 lbs
c) 3.5 lbs
d) 3.5 lbs

;)

Large flat panels that vibrate become "sound boards" as they begin to resonate at their natural resonant frequency. Since the hood is the LARGEST and flattest surface in your entire car (well my car anyway) it would be of great value to apply a viscoelastic damping material like I've done. What this does is reduces the air borne noise propagated by the hood surface through the windshield and into your face. Since 1/4" glass is good for about 12 dB at the frequencies that your engine produces noise at, it would behove you to add another 6 dB reduction in sound with what I've done.

Also, the process is not quite done. I'm going to add a mass-loaded barrier-absorber next to kill more noise. It will block heat, but that's not really a problem for me.

In the end, I could just put two more windshields on my car, but I thought this would be more feasible. ;)

I did install for my springs and struts my self 1.5 hours total. I live in Louisiana and we don't have the salt isues most here seem to have. pics will be added as soon as i get home tonight. the ride is alittle bumpier (our roads suck) but to give you a idea my wife or my kids have have complained yet with 500 miles in the P5 so far.i also did not use a spring compressor. I took off the top center nut with the car on jack stands and my rollaround jack under the suspension lowered the jack the spring was loose took off the lower bolts and it all came out as easy as that.

ordered gtspec front tie bar, trunk cage, and lateral arms today.

Btw still got some left over jdm license plate brackets for sale on ebay. Search ebay user n017_51770k312

I would think no because I think the ms3 seats are bigger than the p5 seats. but don't take my word for it cuz I don't really know. that's just what I would think.

yeah I hear you that. I've messaged a few spd3 owners to find out but haven't heard back yet. The guy that just more then likley totaled his 3 lives down the street from me.

looks way better.

Yup a hacksaw would make any seat fit. Might as well put some bearings on um so you can spin in circles too. WEEEE I wanna go again.

Were not hating. Were baffled as to why you would do something like that for.
Heat isnt ur problem? Its your engines problem first then it will be ur problem next. Nice clean job on the install though.

Oh multiple guess question. Yay!!!

I choose A+B+C+D^2

Dang if thats the case I want a lazy boy. LOL ya know I'm just kidding. Ms3 seats? Bumpin for an answer.

Yes but you have to modify the brackets, or make a hybrid P5 bracket using the MS3 sliders. Like he said, you can make any seat fit. Sounded pretty clear to me ;)
