Pump bearing issue would be gravelly vs. squalish IMO. The ps pulley can be pulled with a 2 jaw puller, from autozone loaner FTW - free. Just take pump off bracket, then res off bracket & loosen lines by strut tower then you can wrangle the pump to face up to pull pulley off without letting juice from system. But....if you have a broke pump then just take lines off pump, remove from car then use 2 jaw puller on pulley. To get mine back on all I used was 3 different length bolts & a fat washer with some anti seize inside the center of the pulley & pulled it back on with a 12mm socket/wratchet after putting pump back in it's bracket on the car to hold it while pulling pulley back on. Strap wrench works great to hold pulley from turning while tightening the bolt pulling it back on.
