What have you done to your P5 today?

wow, surprised corksport had those rear cupholders - it was an accessory only available in Canada (through the dealerships) to my knowledge. good price too actually.

amsgator, you have pm on the cupholders! :)

replied. o an what color, the tan as well?

Installed the radiator panel from Corksport last week and finally got some pictures.
Thinking about painting it yellow or purple, or leave it black, I'm not sure yet.

Nobody else does. (dunno) I painted it to match the Mazdaspeed struts.
i think it looks cool. its somethin different.
how come the inside of your grill area is purple? does your car have a yellow, green, and purple theme to it?

i got the direct wire hooked up today, i just cant find a way to mount the smart cord mute button on top of the steering column right behind the wheel. nothing seems to stick to it. tried 3m dbl sided tape, mounting tape, duct tape, electrical tape. nothing seems to stick to it. anyone know what will? i dont wanna super glue it cuz then i'll never get it off

Theres probably some residual armor-all or something on there preventing anything from sticking....clean it real well with some rubbing alcohol, paint thinner, or other solvent and try again. Hope this helps.

i used the alcohol. it worked :) thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!! now i need to re-armorall where it isnt sticking. doesnt it protect against UV and stuff

Lots of car work.

RX-8:
Saturday removed rims, cleaned, used PC with SSR 2.5 to buff inside of wheel. Then applied Poor Boy's Wheel Sealant. At the same time I added another coat of my custom red flake paint to the calipers. Also got rid of the front brake squeal, both in my 8 and the Jeep. Also cleaned, waxed Jeep rims. The rest of Saturday I spent in the heated pool and BBQ with Dan and friends.

P5:
Sunday Dan came over to work on his ride. Washed car. Painted front calipers. Attached my custom MP3 style wind splitter that I painted black. Replaced ladder bar that had a run in with a dead animal on the highway. Was not a pretty picture. GT-Spec ladder installed. Mazda 6 wiper mod. Tried to add more shine to the hood but there simply is no clearcoat to work with.

Yeah, that's the basic scheme.

just hit 50k yesterday xD but my dad said that he smells coolant. i think my radiator might be leaking..hmm..

Man I wish my ride had that many miles on it instead of over 3 times that amount! I know your car is going to last you for many years down the road.

P.S. I'd check your hoses first.

hehe thank u xD wow ur car got 150k? hows it holding up? i heard our cars are like stallions when ya take good care of her.

kk thanks for the advice xD umm kinda stupid question but the hoses i'm looking for are the black ones coming out from the radiator right? i hope nothing happened to the radiator itself ><

it could be those, it could be the 2 coolant hoses that go to the throttle body, or it could be the 2 that go to the connectors on the firewall behind the intake manifold for the heater core.
