What have you done to your P5 today?

That's because a friend has had dibs on it for many months. Way before I thought of selling it.

I love saturday

finally got a chance to work on my P5 today. I put the Biata away for the winter, so my focus is back, so I got her washed, new plugs, put some of that goo on the battery terminals, going to change the oil in my buddy's heated garage (2thumbs), and some new sliverstars for the highbeams. Already did the low beams w/cool blue. Checked the air filter, but it's still pretty clean. I might do the EGR if my buddy has a small tool set.
Earlier this week I changed the battery for the keyless entry, found a thread on the sequence to re-set the car alarm. very helpful, wicked easy.

I also fixed my dryer today, got a nice 220 tickle while I was testing it. Did some laundry to get brownie points with the wife, sealed up some windows, and Cheez stopped by for a beer while my mom and wife go shopping, but oh s*** UCONN is getting their ass kicked. It's game time< LETS GO HUSKIES!!!

Well....removed grille, Kartboy shifter and bushings, and MSP muffler this morning. Damn the car sounds so quiet now. I forgot how damn long the stock shifter was like.

your posts are depressing me...(cryhard)

nice post! love the 220 tickle! remember...the higher the voltage the lower the amps~they kill you!!:)

YES! I finally conquered the power steering pump brackets.. the are all officially out of the car. I heated up the stuck nut until it was glowing, hammered one of my SAE sockets onto it (it was stripped and got that darn thing off finally).. so as soon as the flat black enamel on the brackets dries (I got all dizzy from sanding/polishing the brackets with brasso and another metal polish), I can have power steering once again.. what a luxury!

Went to Lowes today and fixed the holes in my hatch...
I fixed em up real good!!
--1/4" nylon hole plugs in black. Very small head diameter, so they don't look freaky.

Now I need some black mica paint, and they will be well hidden.

Pics tomorrow!

One hour later and the Brembo rotors are removed, stocks are back on. Quite the significant difference in stopping power. Also painted calipers black.

I got snow!(idhitit) its still snowing too yay

So far I have only found one for sale thread from you. I figured there would be a huge "going back to stock" thread. Are most of your goodies already spoken for? For instance the brakes......are they for sale?

power steering is for suckers

big difference between a car that has no power steering and one that has the full power steering system with just an inoperative pump though. Aside from maneuvering my car in my really tight driveway I didn't mind not having power steering really.

I just didn't want to risk damaging anything by the fluid not being pumped through.

Yes, most parts are indeed already spoken for or sold. Heck, some people had dibs many months ago. (wink)

I redid my brake boot(put it in the correct way), Smoked my tail lights, re-smoked my side markers and bumper lights, peeled off rockblockers and smoked headlights(very light), and snapped a pic of my baby and my buddies MINI TRUCK!...

hmm I wonder if the shaundarbie e-brake boots were made to go in that way.. I didn't think there would be enough material to do it that way, but man that looks a lot better.

oh man.. how does one get in and out of that truck o_O that's crazy
