left low beam bulb went out yesterday. Replaced it (along with the right one just to make sure they match) just about 30 minutes ago.

OEM replacment, but they are brigter and whiter than the original. Im happy :D

i blew mine a couple weeks ago......i am going to get some new silver stars today! i want them to match and i have been putting this off long enough. i am doomed to get pulled over soon.......

lol yea ill let you have the wing if i can have your hood?hahahaha
i have been toying with the idea of selling it and getting the crazy cracker dual vented hood while its in the bodyshop this winter.

i've had the titanium white luminics (hi and low) in the car for a couple months now and really like them; still need to change the fog light bulbs to the jdm yellow luminics.

speaking of which, i noticed that the luminics fog light bulbs have a wire attached??? i've not changed the fog light bulbs before, so i'm kind of stumped by this. for those that have changed these bulbs before, is this normal? what exactly needs to be done when changing these ones?

and to stay on topic, what i did to my P5 last night... very lightly curbed the front pass 'speed rim :( very minor rash just on the very edge, but it still pisses me off royally. now i have to decide if it's worth $250 to have the rim repainted while she sits over winter or if i can live with the rash... sigh

Curb rash seemed to be the theme last night, sorry guys! Andrea, I'd pay to have it done. I had it done once(I'm anal) and I'm so glad I did.

yeah, i may yet... but i'm currently paying for two cars (my new 626 for winter) so money is going to be tight for a bit :(

plus, i still want to powdercoat the stockers bronze... i know this would look GREAT on the P5 (LOVE bronze on mid blue), but i'm thinking once these winter tires are done - on the steelies - i'm going to go to the stockers for winter. BUT, now that i have the 626, i may just leave it with the steelies and keep the stockers for autox like i was originally going to... decisions, decisions

Yea that is normal on the fog light bulb. It is really easy to hook up once you remove the whole fog light assembly from out of the car.

Nice!! I so want to do that with my car one of these days... Is the hatch entirely shaved? I love mine that way (well, I've got the Mazda emblem in the center, but that's it)

What did you use to remove them and the adhesive?

OK, thanks! I guess it will become apparent what to do once I actually start to remove the old bulb?

I like our cars so much better with out those door guards. Wasn't the glue so much fun. I ended up using a rubber pinstripe remover wheel to get rid of all the excess glue.

Yep! The wire just hooks on to one part and the other grounds itself automagically or something. Real simple.

thanks khaosman!

Anyone have the OEM P5 car cover? What's the quality like? I am parking the beast for winter (outside, unfortunately :( ), and don't want to leave her unprotected.

It's a good price, and every aftermarket, 4-layer, custom-fit car cover is $150 and up. I don't want to buy the OEM one though if it won't offer the same protection as the aftermarket ones, or if it has fewer layers.

Any info/feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Relocated the MAF before the throttle body and HOLY s***! No more hesitating, stalling, any of it! We'll see if it actually stays that way or not. Oh yea, and picked up some mp3 wheels powdercoated bronze. The works will be up for sale sooooon. :)

Autocrossed it today. Well, it was more like a day out on the lake. Holy crap I was so soaked. It was fun though and we got a lot of runs in since there weren't many people there.
