What have you done to your P5 today?

Here are the semi-final results from the project I've been working on the last few days. I painted the valve cover, strut bar, CAI, and a few other small pieces on the engine bay. My eventual plan is to have everything that's easily removable painted the same gunmetal/dark grey color.

First picture is before the CAI was painted, second pic is after, and the 3rd and 4th are just details of the pipes as I was letting them cure inside.

I washed my car again while the weather is still so nice, so now she's basically spotless.
Probably gonna polish the dashboard and dust the interior a little bit, since the rest of the interior is still pretty much perfect.

Put on my new personalized plates!

um...how'd u do that?

You take off the endcaps and trim it, then put the endcaps back on.

i12drivemyMP5, did you just buy the smallest size one they sell?

I think I might buy the other valeo-esque wiper blades, they have them at a pep-boys around here. They don't have the integrated spoiler that the bosche icon and valeo wipers have, so they are much smaller and more streamlined. Don't need that integrated spoiler for the rear wiper anyway.

ok, this isn't today, but yesterday. There's this onramp onto I-75 that, I think, is race track worthy...there's elevation changes, tight curves...anyway, basically, I drove the crap out of it, got a little squirely, and looked like this guy ((thumb)) for about the next 5 minutles lol. Hella fun. I didn't even have to go that way, but it was fo sho the fun route ;)

Yes, I bought the 18" one & trimmed 2" off each end but you also have to grind the end to have notch where endcap locks in place.

R U gonna ride without panels installed? Noisy? Kinda makes that area useless for anything else but if you never use it anyway then WTF. Better still if you see track time in it-weight savings. Mod on!

you don't loose that much space the two bars hug the panels pretty tight and the strut bat is not too far below the cover.
