What have you done to your P5 today?

I need a 10.9 ISO grade bolt to go on my sway bar. Who the F would sell that, along with 4 matching nuts.

So that was you who IM'd me! Um, you could probably just go to any auto parts store and buy the "auto grade" hardware you need. I've been doing this for years and the current nuts/bolts holding my turbo setup together were bought there. No problems yet.

EDIT: Sorry I wasn't more helpful - I always get a little confused when someone IM's me and I have no idea who they are.

I'm soon to be going Medieval on my P5's ass!......no seriously, waiting on last pulley from Brach's Medieval lightweight pulleys to come in so I can install the alt, wp and ps pulleys. Then later this week I will be getting my HID kit from my wife for our 1 year anniversary. What do you guys think about the MintBlue spoiler?.......I need to stop thinking about things for the car......my bonus will be gone before I know it....

hehe got my soshinoya wakaba badge from my mom's friend today xD paid $10 for two pairs and a mini one haha. kinda hard to find a place to put it on the car cause i know people in hawaii actually steal them so i put them in the inside of the car. baby one is on top left windshield and bigger one is on the right rear third window xD i'm so happy haha

I spy an engine damper kit. How does it feel? I have replaced my front and side motor mounts. I have (in my posession) the rear inserts but have too many projects to tackle as it is. I would almost rather spend the money on the damper (and make the kit) IF it will help the rear. Any thoughts?

The engine Damper helped a lot. Aspecially in eliminating engine movement while reving and pounding through gears. I have not installed any engine mounts yet but I believe with an engine damper and a new front engine mount that is all you need concidering the front and the rear engine mounts get the most force and wear and tair on them

WTF? That's what bonuses are for, to keep you from dipping into the household budget for parts. Well, most of the time, I still dip into that too. **** new clothes or a haircut, I need car parts, bike parts, computer parts, surfboards, and...........well, use it to minimize the dipping I suppose. Spend it tho, if you save it then some stupid s*** that you have to spend it on will come along & eat it up then you'll regret not getting something you want. Must balance need & wants, it's the law!

My radiator was making too much heat so I bypassed it.

I'm seriously thinking about seafoaming the engine soon. Idle has gotten rougher over the past few months. Using it on a turbo car worries me though...

Received PM but I'm a little confused on some points as to why seafoam would be bad for F/I cars (see PM).

Basically if MSP's have a check valve in the brake booster then shouldn't all Proteges? If that's not the case the I still wouldn't have one because I've only added one check valve (see the "If you've boosted an N/A Protege..." thread) so I don't see why that would be a problem.

Any other comments on this?

Checked oil and noticed it was a little on the low side. I also was completely out of wiper fluid. So I topped off the oil and filled the wiper fluid (holy crap these cars take like a full gallon!). It also looks like I need to add a little coolant so tomorrow it looks like I'll be doing that and cleaning my air filter.
