Ok...thinking caps guys....so im getting p0106 cel code....just cleaned egr....manifold is holding vac(pullong off a vac line you hear it suck air)..... rpms run up after hot and running a bit like a vac leak......grrrr....gonna replace the vac lines for the map sensor or what ever you wanna call it and what ever ones i can in am....what else could it be

i dont know if pepboys is still doing this, but 3 or 4 months ago I got rear Hawk pads for $15. They are trying to clear their inventory. so call your nearest pepboys and ask them if they have any in stock.

With carb cleaner the idle rpms would rise when you find a leak... seafoam through the brake booster or a im vac line can also easily help find vac or exhaust leaks too.

Nick, you might want to just start over with a fresh Mazda, buddy...
I won't be buying a Mazda for a loooong time after this one finally dies, unless they can prove that they fixed the rust issue. They say it'll be better with the new "skyactive" platform, but I'm skeptical. Especially considering that I'm already seeing rusty Mazda3's that are only ~5 years old.
For the time being, that exhaust hanger just needs a little love from some stainless lashing wire. My parts for the fuel pump body should arrive tomorrow so I'll try and get that fixed this weekend.

in the how to it says to trim the wiper arm as well. i did it today and now it works great. also after a year and a half i replaced my seized rear calipers with new ones. Black and blue calipers anyone?

get a double din and then get a dummy face. thats what i have and so far it hasnt been stolen. i think that means its working... maybe
also as for brakes. i can only find brembo blanks on tirerack, is that the best place (price) to get them or should i be searching elsewhere?

ooo, i do like the sound of doing that. but now that im thinking more about it, i think i should save the $250 and do the single and then i can replace my oakleys that were also liberated from the car
are you sure about a single din? it seams like our cars were built for a big screen!
mine was $350 and does everything but nav. (never ever get a in dash nav)

someone took the radio and my oakleys from my car last night
just gonna go back to the factory radio for music for a bit until i figure out what to replace this with
This happened to me a couple of years back to, except they smashed my driver side window and ripped out nav head unit along with anything else they could find from front to back...luckily they left my lug key but the bastards took my tools and cleaning supplies!!
I ended up going with a simple Sony single din head unit with the pocket underneath. Unit has detachable face along with front USB slot which comes in handy for portable NAV or quick Ipod connect. I found an awesome deal on Crutchfield at the time. Good luck!!

i have nav in mine and it works great, only thing i would say is make sure its not a cheap knock off deck and you'll be fine. and jiggaBro Pm Cr3 for the Brembo blanks, great pricing on brakes

I've been looking into a double din touchscreen. I want everything but nav since I already have nav, however, having built in nav would be sweet. Depends on price I guess. I need a CD player (alot of the fancy double dins don't have them), I want an aux plug in, and I want it to control my iPod like my Alpine does. I was looking at a model on ebay just to check out new units, prices, features, etc. This one unit had EVERYTHING, even a T.V. tuner built in. I saw the dummy face accessory for it and thought that was the best thing ever
