What have you done to your P5 today?

I like them both, but had you gone white on the midnight blue, I could possibly fall in love. But that's just me.

And it was nice meeting you, Nick! Hope you had fun at the auto-x and movie night. Come on back to Ohio anytime, mate!

I'd totally do it again, you guys know how to have a good time :)

@JDM_Pro5: I vote for silver.

Back on topic, today I did an oil change and checked the lateral run-out on my front rotors. The reason for checking the run-out was because of a weird issue that cropped up on the way to Ohio, at anything greater than about 100km/hr my steering wheel would shake slightly like as if I had a wheel that was out of balance AND when braking I'd get brake judder from the front (steering wheel shakes). The weird thing is both of these symptoms are intermittent!

Before I left I swapped the front and rear tires hoping it was just a tire balance issue, but the problem persisted. If anything it only got worse on the way back.

Anyway, the right rotor is out of spec by 3-4 thousands of an inch, but I didn't have time to check if the rotor is at fault or if it might be another stupid bearing issue. That's the corner with the junkyard steering knuckle so anything's possible...

STILL waiting for my DDM HID kit to get here. They decided to ship it from China, so I'm assuming it's just chillin' at Customs... being my 55w kit. Damnit!

I have white wheels on my midnight blue P5. They look so sweet. It sucks that I need to repaint them. The guy I bought them from (craigslist $100) Said he painted them like 4 times and they look like it too. Winter project, if I get time. Right now I struggle to have the time to mow my lawn.

This JDM. At least do a photoshop of them in white and post it so I can drool over something, even if you don't actually do them white

Do it JDM! They will look a lot better than your thinking they will look. I won't be mad if you copy me. Like I am the first guy ever to put white wheels on his P5.

Silver. Gunmetal is overdone and really only looks good on champagne and other lighter color cars. I'd go back to the stock silver if I had someone else prep and paint my rims for me. Bronze is a color you could do. It looks good on my car.

55w kit without projectors is painful. When I first installed them in my car, the reflection from the speed limit signs were brighter than on coming traffic.

No bronze for me, I like it with blue, just don't want it on this project. I'm going to wait a few weeks untill I have my MSP bumper and CF hood painted and installed. I may keep the silver since it seems to pop more and show how large the wheels are

I forgot about white. Larry's P5 with white wheels and trim looks really nice. Maybe shop some white wheels too?

Yesterday I painted my muffler black with the left over black caliper paint. Low-key FTW.

I think I like the silver because it looks so much like white. I could def do white. I'll try shopping the white and work and I could always order some white plastidip

Low-key my ass....you are just getting lazy and don't want to polish your tip. ;) lol

Washed mine over the weekend in-between trips to Zoellner Arts Center for my daughter's dance recital. Also found a nice lava orange MSM f/s locally that `may` be her replacement.

I think it's white wheels with a blue bumper. Not too sure seeing as how I'm kinda colorblind. My eyes over-compensate for colors depending lighting

He said muffler, not exhaust tip. My muffler came black and has slowly lost it's color and can stand to be repainted, My tip is polished and just takes a quick wipe of the rag to clean up

Not so black anymore

I have the RB axle back that came on the car and the tip was rewelded and lots of rusty spatter so I just painted the whole thing black, tip and all. I like black mufflers.

And I am not lazy, Jeff! Haha

i don't polish my own tip, but it's not cause i'm lazy

Neither do I. ;)
