What have you done to your P5 today?

believe my clutch pressure plate is going out. sounds like im grinding gears when the clutch pedal is fully in shifting from 1st to 2nd and the frequency is increasing )^: or could it be the 2nd gear in the transmission? idk...

Is it only in 2nd? If so, I'd put more thought into the syncros for 2nd gear.

What fluid are you running in the transmission? It's not uncommon for these transmissions to have syncro issues. I've used Red Line 70W90 in mine before and it pretty much eliminated all of the syncro worries that popped up for me. The other option is the GM Syncromesh Fluid. Lots of people have had good experiences with this.

I took Evan's advice and removed the ABS and parking brake bulbs, at least they won't distract me now...

I also got my box O' parts from OMP, can't wait to get my new mounts in! I was planning on doing it today, but it's drizzling and super humid.

Got my MIshimoto coupler in from Amazon. Can't beat $10 shipped. If it's still raining I won't be able to slap it on till tomorrow. This one piece will change around my cold piping and my intake piping for a more efficient system. =)

pics once its installed? need to see this cleaned up bay...

I gotta start shopping for some 17s to replace my speed3s. not a big fan of the tires i got on there right now because they were cheap and dont feel like replacing them because they are just too pricey for a decent 215/35-18.

thinking about just picking up some new wheels but not sure what. They will follow me to whatever i drive next most likely so wont be a horrible investment.

Sorry, not today. lol Drove into town to pick up my wedding album, after that my car would start then die...SO I had to make due (while driving through traffic) reving the engine (just above idle) while trying to stay in gear and pressing the brake (so i dont slam into the car in front of me...) Anyways just got home, hood is up and im waiting for it to cool down before I go and look for whats wrong.

Thought I could get the rear motor mount changed before dark, I was wrong. I was able to loosen all the nuts before giving up for the night, tomorrow I'll wiggle it out and put in the new one.

changed the oil, washed it, and when i was going to my friends house while going down a hill a jetta blew past me and thew on it's hazards.... i pulled up next to him at the light, looked him in the eye and when the light turned green i took off very slowly lol

I love doing that, for maximum lulz I hope you revved your engine :D

Today I finished changing the rear motor mount and I swapped in the new tranny mount too. I hope to never have to touch that rear mount ever again, my arms are bloody and bruised... Granted, I didn't make it easy for myself, the only things I removed prior to changing the mount was the air intake tube (just the accordion part) and the wire harness bracket that sits over the mount. Needless to say, but I did most of the job from underneath the car.

Pulled the roll cage out finally that was a task all by myself lol.. Also took off my chargespeed spiltter gonna be selling that..And then washed her with the help of my two niece's :)

went outside to find a flat rear tire.. looks like a trip to the shop to have it patched today, stupid nails from all the new house construction in my neighborhood

Installed a used Sparco steering wheel (where's my NOS!? WHERE'S MY NOS!!??), changed the tranny fluid after a break in period with the new trans, installed an underdrive pulley and a Probe GT shift linkage. It was a good weekend. :)

Haha, yeah. I'll probably pop them out and put in some black caps. They look so F&F it's embarassing...
