What have you done to your P5 today?

The shop says it's a bent intake valve so I don't think that it made it's way down. Honestly though, I don't have the time right now to mess with it all. If I put even 500 bucks into it now, there could be something else wrong. Either way, does anyone have stock struts and/or stock exhaust they're looking to get rid of?

I have a full set of stock suspension sitting in the garage. If you want them, you're welcome to them. I have my stock axleback up in the attic too. However, the rest of the exhaust on my car is in much better shape than the rest of the car. If you need it, I'm sure we can work something out.

its pretty awesome man, but it really depends on what psi your running. If i wouldnt have built the motor, i wouldnt have thought it was great either
cuz i would have been running like 6-7psi, scared to blow up the engine lol but let me tell you..12psi is out of this world
 
I'm at 9.5 been like that for a few days. I love it. It's crazy. But I have the mindset of "if I blow my motor, I'm going to do a KL swap.....with a supercharger.
 
But let's be honest, most of the time it's the turbo charged and supercharged motors posting the "uh-oh" posts in here. That's the reason I haven't turbo charged my P5. It just seams like it's too much of a headache and I'm fine with being slow. I'll just drive my NA FS-DE until it kicks the buckets then I'll swap to a KL.

I drove my P5 all over Ohio this weekend. Up to Norwalk drag strip to watch some dragsters then to Mohican State Park for a dry run of our Ohio fun run this coming weekend. I pushed the hell out of my motor trying to keep up with all the Mazda3's and their 2.3's and a Mazda6 V6. Then drove home on the highway for 1.5 hours and some ricer in a Toyota Camry was messing with me so I left him safely behind and hit 110mph. All this with a 127k miles on my motor. But I take very good care of my car and motor, ask any of the Ohio members. I think that has a lot to do with why my cars and motors last so long. Premium everything: fuel, oil, oil filter, trans fluid, spark plugs, gaskets. Like they say; "Garbage in, garbage out".

All that and putting any extra pressure on a motor that already has over 100k miles of N/A does not sound good in my mind. A motor with that many miles should be rebuilt before adding boost.
 
yea...thats why i spent the cash to rebuild mine, because i know, that once i got used to boost, i would want something more, and i do lol
so im upgrading to a t3/t4...just hope the clutch and trans can hold it, i need to start looking around for a spare trans just in case lol
 
Still broke haha...haven't been by the shop to check...I just have so many parts, want to do it, but the more I think about it the more scared I get...

Drivers door lock actuator decided to s*** during lunch.. guess thats the next fix. *sigh*

I hate that rattle, it's the sound of failure (almost worse than the sound of understeer). Korey fixed that on my rear passenger-side door before I sold it
 
so i think im def going to start autocrossing the p5, did a little test course today for class
was setup like an autocross but had obstacles and s*** (to show new suspension vs old) and man, it was a blast,
even though it was a small course, thats the most fun ive had in a while

Nah car ran great boost felt great for like the first week after that I really didn't care for it that much.This isn't my first turbo car so um yea I know what I'm doing just not worth it with the p5 I had to find out the hard way lmao.So no turbo on the p5 isn't that great..

lol I mean how hard is it to not mess up a stock setup on these cars a blind person could do it nothing to it really.I was pushin 9lbs.Boost on these cars just suck yea I said it lmao. So now Im going for low/slow/ballin wheels :)

On another note working on my bbs center caps sanding/polish and prob order new logos later.
