What have you done to your P5 today?

ive wanted to get a 29er for a while now. maybe that will be my next bike. what do you have?

Redline Monocog. It's a single speed rigid frame. I love it, and I'd have a hard time going back to gears.

yeaaaa not gunna be able to do it till i make the hole in the black housing bigger... the one thing on the car that i wouldnt mind being plastic, is metal of course.

My 3000k's are in the mail so I will be doing this soon as well. I haven't looked at them yet, but I'm sure it's nothing 10 min. with a dremel won't fix.

The painted lip has finally grown on me.

You have to trim the back of the fog and that heat shield on the bumper. (You probably realised this, though)

yea i am hoping its jjsut making the hole bigger in the back of the black housing. i didnt even think of the other metal. i shouldnt need to do it too much. and hopefully that dremel will work. it is metal tho.. so idk.

It'll work. Dremel cutting wheels and grinding stones do pretty decent.

I drilled out the hole to 7/8" to get the black boot thing to seal. 1" might be a better fit. I also hacked up the stock wiring to keep the grounding clip in place. Also, the lens won't screw back on as tight as it should. I did about 3-4 threads and sealed them bitches up.

I didn't have to touch this "heat shield" you speak of.

I had intermittent shorting issues before I trimmed those away...It's a piece of black metal directly behind the fog on the bumper. A cutting wheel went through it just fine. ;)
