What have you done to your MSP today?

Sandpaper question; what grit sandpaper should i use on polished aluminum to allow paint to adhere to it better? What grit should i use on ceramic coating to allow for better paint adhesion?

I plan on painting my sri, and hardpipes with that heat tolerant metalcast paint. Going with black for a semi stock look
2000 grit will suffice. try using some adhesion promoter. that'll help the paint stick better.

Changed the Starter, Car still didnt start. Called up JDMSam for help and he said to hold the alarm button thing under the dash and it should start up. And yep it worked! YAH!!!!!!!!! My alarm must of glitched somehow.

ya, if it is the same thing I am thinking of, (which is when your battery either dies or is disconnected) then you have to close all the doors and lock the car and then unlock it before you can start the car.. extra safety precaution

Sewed up a leather boot to match my seat stitching. Looks like it should of been a factory option. Seats next. If anyone's interested I could make some more.

niceee! i just bought a generic boot to make a custom one for mines

I have an ATP and no complaints. Very affordable replacement if you can't afford or don't want the forge. Though adjustable internal WGA's in my opinion aren't really that great. If you want boost to spike above the level you choose, get a cheap manual boost controller. I went all out and got a Greddy Profec B electronic in order to minimize spiking, since I feel it is a good investment to save yourself from a blown motor.

added aac bumper sag brackets. very nice pieces. helped a lot.

also changed out my primary o2 sensor heres the old one next to the new one

going to attempt changing out the rear end links since they seized up. any tips or tricks to this, or is it a straightforward 2 bolt removal / installation? also, does the car need to be jacked up? just wondering if the suspension needs to be loaded or not.

There's a hole for an allen wrench on the top of the bolt so the whole piece doesn't turn. I did mine on a lift. I'd say at least need to jack the car up. Might cause problems taking them out under stress.

have a dremel or cut off wheel at the ready and jacking up the car and taking the wheels off will make 100x easier. Not really sure why you wouldn't.
