What have you done to your MSP today?

Got back from Buttonwillow today. Had a great time. That was a cool track. I need to upgrade my brakes soon. I dont know how much meat i got left on those pads.

Now the bad news, we lost a msp out on the track. My boy Chris totalled his msp out there. He was going 95 on a turn and cliped the side and flipped the car. It rolled a good 6 times. But him and his passenger walked away with just some scratches. Pics,

Helmets definitely saves lives.

Damn man that sucks and i bet that was his DD to right? At least everyone was able to WALK away from it!

despite the lack of crashbar due to the turbolife, that front end held up pretty decently id say

makes me more comfortable with my turbolife

glad they are ok, I saw them as they came to a stop behind the cloud of dust. coming up to it i figured it was just a really bad slide, then i saw the bumper off and roof caved in and i knew other wise =[

yeah... I'd say a front end collision would look VERY different.

the front is pushed in pretty and front fenders crushed back.that front end took a good part of the impact at some point

so did the rest of the car. my only point is that result is NOT comparable to a front end collision, which is what the crash bar is for.

Yea i also think a front end collison would be a tad different. Yea they rolled the car not flipped it. My bad. Im glad they made it through. Sad to see the MSP go but thanks to the msp for protecting them. They said it was good they were wearing helmets because their heads hit the side pillars hard. U can see the marks on the helmet.

wow that is pretty hard! Now I want to see pics of that. What sucks is that I dont think they can claim insurance on that. lol

sorry to hear about the msp

i need a question awnsered quick!

i need to know what size the adapter couler is on the turbolife kit for the bpv on the cold pipe. i need the size for the coupler not the hole itself. im trying to determine what type of fitting i need to get for my forge bov to connect there(the maf will be relocated)

thanks in advance!

i have a buddy who has an msp who blew his trans recently. just wondering if the msp trans is the same as all 01-03 besides the lsd needing to be swapped in?

02.5+ g15 tranny got some updates but aside from that, I think the lsd is the only difference in the MSP tranny.

The 02.5 upgrades include a better/beefier throw out bearing, different 3rd gear synchros & a beefed up 3/4 fork, IIRC. There's more than that but that's what I remember off the top of my head.

O, and make sure the speedo pick up on the tranny is the one you need (ABS vs. speedo gear/sensor).
