What have you done to your MSP today?

the catback is 2.25"

Ya, I was pretty sure it was, I've just seen some conflicting info about the MP3 catback. I may take mine off this weekend and measure... If it's not 2.25" I'm upgrading, lol.

For exhaust diameter measurements, you measure the inner diameter right? So the MSP catback has an inner diameter of 2.25"? Just want to make sure... (doh)

yes, inner diameter. my stock exhaust is in the garage, i'll measure the ID if i remember

Took the car to get a smoke test and a before/after dyno.

So I'm thinking about painting my calipers this summer. I don't think I want the traditional red, but I'm not so sure about blue either. I think it could look pretty cool if I can get it to match the car, but maybe black would look best? Maybe I should look for some of those mazdaspeed stickers as well to put on?

jackelope sells them. I'd paint the face with the color you want the text to be, put the sticker on, paint in the color you want the caliper to be, then take the sticker off. I see the vinyl coming off before too long.

Try to do it with one touch/drop of touch-up paint. If you have to touch the cap again, it won't look as good.

I did nothing other then put in new plugs and fix one small boost leak. As mentioned earlier a smoke test is a boost leak test but with smoke.

nope, I only had one very very very small boost leak.

because one of them is a 3/4 inch plug. a "dab" doesn't do it. the other ones are about 1/2" total diameter..

I am ordering mine from G2 paint, they have a paint matching system so it will exactly match.. it's $100 about for the kit but they have really good paint I hear

Damn, that's a lot for caliper paint lol. I'll have to think about it. Either way, I just bought some stickers from Jackelope's website so whatever color I go with will have the "Mazdaspeed" text on it sexaaaaayyyyyyy
