What have you done to your MSP today?

so far ive; used a head gun to pop out the dent, sanded, applied epoxy filler, sanded, added filler primer, sanded, applied spot filler to pin holes, sanded sanded sanded my msp lip prepping it for paint. got the paint sitting in the corner all ready to go just have to get the thing perfect. wasnt gonna prime the entire lip but ill probably end up doing it just to get it all even.

at the spot filler stage. last step is to sand this all off, then gradually up the grit to make it smooth enough for the base coat primer application then sand it all again X_X.

ah well. getting a body shop to do this work would have cost a fair bit. so far im $160 cdn in the hole for it. which isnt too bad i guess.

I thought about doing this until I got to CA. People here make retarded entrances and driveways. Not scraping is an art form.

need stiffer springs for our roads... msp is pretty stiff already but still nose dives and s***.
I am looking for fogs though. they dont have to fit behind the corner grills but would be nice if i could ge tsome that would fit close to them and i could get some p5 grills and mod them. or make custom housings but im a fan of stock looking.

i had them mounted behind the lower grill toward the middle... not on the corners. i don't even know if they would fit there.

coilovers are waaaaay too stiff for roads here. i was trying to decide between going with roadmagnets on illumina's or bc coils but I think bc coils are gonna be too stiff on full soft for a dd with a baby seat heh.

gotta figure it out soon though. i just passed 100k and im getting kidneyed a lot. also feeling more bounce than when i got it.

as for the fogs, i could do them the same way, but planning on sticking a 26x7x3.5 rad down there for the water to air system. althoug the 2" deep one would probably work for my needs.

Well I fooled around with my AFC after work for about 2 hours and I think I got it running normally again. Okay well I don't think there is such a thing as normal with my car, but whatever. I used a serial to usb cable at work to hook up my netbook to the AFC and with a little help from one of the IT guys I think I figured it out.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the best way to load a preset map (I used the Super Stock Map for now) is to just hit "Open Customer" and select the map instead of your personal info, right?

I don't know anything about tuning so I just used that map for now. I took it for a test drive and it seemed to be running good. I didn't see it go any lower than 11.0 so I was perfectly happy with that. Though when I left to go home, it started diving to 10.0 again just like when it was first installed. Am I doing something wrong? Maybe I didn't save it properly or something?

this is an SSAFC thread question.. sounds like the map needs tuning... if you're not comfortable with it though, don't... and the danger is going too high, not too low.

If by 'high' you mean leaning out, then yea I agree. It has been running rich like that for as long as I've had the car but yesterday it started to buck a little bit, though didn't seem quite as severe as fuel cut. I was just afraid that I could be left stranded so I was looking for help ASAP.

I'll go back to my hole in the AFC thread.

Damn! the msp is overheating. I got a termostat from Kragen and see if i cna change it tonight. I think i might as well slap the CS radiator in too.

Lol, what kind of coolant does your alls car have in them just standard green? for some reason my car has dex cool in it? WTF, I just noticed this and I have had my car for like ever. :D
