I've done it... 2300 lb car and it was less than what I'd call fun. even push starting my RF600 wasn't fun.

I'm sure we have all done it. I was just mainly giving my bud omar a hard time. I used to have to back into my driveway everyday so I could pop the clutch every morning to get going. Thankfully I live at the end of a culdesack(sp?, I know thats not right) and my driveway is already at a slant.. so no effort on my part. Just let it roll out and pop the clutch and i was golden.(nana)

I did it everyday in a parking garage for awhile... try pushing it out of a parking spot only to have to turn the wheels to get it into the isle.
Edit: Like I said earlier I was just giving omar a hard time. I know its cold as hell up their and snow on the ground. Id jump start it to in those coniditions. lol

pop it in 1st and not fast at all.... maybe 3-5mph... Don't really know how fast but not fast at all.

higher gear ratio means you get more engine turns for wheel turns, so reverse would be best actually, but then traction can become an issue, so yeah, 1st would be ideal

That and your already facing the direction the car is going. lol Just curious but if their a big difference in gear ratios 1st compared to reverse.. i would think that they would have to be awfully close. Both are short as hell.

reverse is typically a little shorter. Car Talk on Public Radio... lol

LOL Thanks, Nope been putting $$$ away every week for awhile and just decided that it's better spent paying off the MSP than letting it sit there.
