man, I really need to get goin on finding a hot pipe for my FMIC setup... my SSQV must be depressed sitting on a shelf.
what I'm planning on doing is just mocking up with an ebay kit for now. maybe get a custom pipe make later. Unless someone is willing to give me specs/drawing on a hot pipe for a standard FMIC setup... you'd be my hero!buy a length of pipe and go to a muffler shot tell them the angle you want and most of them will bend it for you...

ok, just got made fun of for my mounted, unplumbed core on another forum... thats it... time to pick up a kit on ebay...
i doubt its the same core, but if I know where your IC inlet is relative to mine, I could adjust it accordingly. Mine's just a standard 29x6x3" core.. endtakes have the in/out in the center, which ends up about 3" below the bumper on center....I'm going to mock my own up and I VERY seriously doubt you have the same core I do.
Do those fit our cars? I was tempted to get one just to get rid of the pos plastic pipes.
anything 6" or under can be mounted to the bottom of the bumper without cutting the crash bar... any thing bigger and you'll have to trim somewhere for space. my 6" is mounted under the bumper, I had to trim a TINY bit and the 2 bolts that hold the bottom of the bumper to the car can no longer be used... as of now they're just holding up the splash guard.

PLANS: I'm gonna run basically the standard setup for a hot pipe, and I've got a turbolife cold pipe that I'm going to add a small piece to to get over to the standard core... piping should be VERY short. I'm running the SSQV VTA on the hot pipe, and the BPV on the cold..But I do want the shortest possible piping... how are your pipes run Wagon

its either that or hack up a beautiful cold pipe to put the MAF there... and I just can't bring myself to do it as long as the stocker holds boost.good. that's the best way to run.

IC piping, couplers, T-bolts, and SSQV flange purchased.. total cost for FMIC kit: $252, and the black altezzas that came with my car (pay it forward thread)....
