It is. My mount came with the aluminum bracket. I bought the new steel one. But the bracket was still ******* junk. The fit-ment left a lot to be desired.

Honestly mazdas247 is the only forum I like. Every other forum I visit people constantly snap at each other, pwn the new guys which makes them not want to post, and tell people to search when in the time it took them to say 'search you idiot' they could have provided an answer. First of all, let me point out to all the Moderators on here how I don't keep instigating these pointless conversations. This is the last time I'm gonna reply to or about any of it anymore after this but wow.
You all sound like a bunch of little girls. People like me fking it up, yea. So I think it was Terbow that suggested spec clutch for him. How the hell does that help him? Didnt say which one, which model, hp rating. That doesn't help him. you have a fking "400hp" car, how about asking the fking people who built your car where to get a clutch from?! .

SPEC only makes one clutch for the MSP. It comes in different ratings, dependant on HP. His vendor should know what stage is best for him, since he doesnt do the work on the car anyhow.
So me suggesting a brand, and you suggesting nothing at all, is not helpful?

Let's get this thread back on track, here is some stuff I did yesterday and today....
Picked up a Medieval dead pedal and diversion plate. They came bare so I double polished and double brushed them. Both cleaned up real nice. I added some rubber inserts for the dead pedal slots and stuck a couple logos on there to make them match the stock '03 pedals. I have some various vinyl logos on the way for the diversion panel and they should be here next week.

My thoughts exactly. There is no doubt that it is by far the (second) best manifold that has ever been made for the stock msp setup. Pirana got the best one... not sure who ended up with it though.
Three times the cost, but from what I have seen it's times a hundred on quality.

well hopefully not every thunder manifold cracks. but if they do, there is warranty. i made the comment just because its like comparing a fossil watch to a rolex or omega watch. they are in 2 completely different leagues!
Mine was the first one made after the mockup proto, before any revisions were made for bolt/wrench clearance. Pirana's was made after Beau had a little practice so to speak, and everything about that particular one was just perfect. Every MAM msp manifold is a tiny bit different from one another, like all works of art.

Yea I think the ported Thunder manifold I just got is beginning to crack in a new spot.
jb weld will have to do for now. There is no way I'm taking everything off again anytime soon.
It has 2 cracks one is longer than the other. I put krazy glue on it for now on the longer crack before the manifold was installed, now there is a new crack that wasn't there before. but I doubt the glue holds up with that kind of heat. Still havent bought jb weld yet but I'm gonna. Not to mention I've only punched it a couple times since it's been installed and I already have a new crack.
Driving normal idle everything seems fine though, another fun adventure off into MSP problem land.
