Hehe - still looks better than the current state of my engine bay! Thanks for the pics, is that the "mini" kit?

I took out my oil dip stick and cut off the big yellow loop! i then took my dremel to shape it cleanly. now it's a small nub that you can hardly notice. looks clean and i can still take it out with no problem. i think they make it a big yellow loop so that idiots won't mistake it for something else.

thats a good idea...somehow my big yellow loop broke..

I finally got to drive it after 1.5 years sitting without an engine!! I am running it at 0.4 bar for the moment until I get it inspected and install the AFC, wideband, and ebc. I absolutely love this car again!! Even at around 5psi the thing is a blast, not a lot of traction on wet roads! I will be getting it inspected very soon to make sure I didn't miss anything and to make sure all the fluids are correct. I love it!!

New SW gauges: I've managed to place all the gauges I wanted (6 total) without having to use a pillar pod. Boost/Oil pressure in my Yeller bezel, oil/water/trans temp in an angled triple DIN above the radio and my AEM wb will be front and center in a custom mount on the column. Form and function ...

Nice man!
Do the gauges have a peak and warning lights built in for safety? Keep us updated with the progress on the motor as well, she is going to be a beast...

Nope - OEM idiot lights will be the last line of defense. Oh yeah, I did pick up an engine stand today :D but that's more for the "what have you done to your garage today thread".

When you have your wb set up in the custom mount, wanna toss some pics ups !!
