What have you done to your MSP today?

i autox'd today and then did a 'funrun' or two at the end in my dads sti and ended up beating him by .02 sec.....my turkey is hella loud now since i have no bumper thanks to pizza boy. the intake filter acts like a microphone. ill post up my run on streetfire after i upload the vids n all.

Sorry, no pics......but i changed out my front driver side caliper (caliper was stuck closed), and added a set of Posi-Quiet Pads to the fronts.....got lazy, so ill do the rear later :D

Ohh yea, and the Millenia Pcv valve.....took a whole 2 minutes from start to finish.

any benefit to the millenia pcv valve? and you know semi metallic pads eat rotors alot faster than organic right and the stopping power is basically the same.

Got all 4 corners new for $60 shipped, cant complain. And my current Cross-drilled rotors are rusting.....so im in the process of getting Nickel Plated cross-drilled rotors. I loved the OE Mazda Brake Pads, ill be getting them again next time around.

As far as the Millenia pcv valve goes, they are supposedly made for the "forced induction" vehicles like the Supercharged Millenia that it comes from. Ive heard around that the stock protege pcv valves have gone out on people and leaked oil....and just the other day, a fellow MSP buddy of mine needed to replace his because of major leaks his stock one caused. He of course purchased the Millenia one also....i just thought id stay ahead of the game :D

I sold mine today lol.........well actually like 2 weeks ago now lol

traitor.......altho, not gonna lie id willingly give up my car for an sti. i mean im allowed to drive my dads basically whenever i want but i want one for my own that i can mod and everything. had an autox yesterday and felt i did really good in my msp without my front bumper. but then i got to do a couple fun runs in the sti and it was awesome. i ended up beating my dad by .02 which would have put me 6th fastest time out of 57....not bad for 17 years old eh:)

I installed boost and oil pressure gauges on the a-pillar along with the GReddy turbo timer.

All was not well though as the boost gauge is reading funky signals, I think I hooked it up to a switching valve or something. It was tee'd off of the intake mani in the center where the hoses come up at an arch. I'm thinking about moving it around to the BPV vacum source to test if its the gauge or source. Also my turbo timer wont keep the motor running when on countdown. Researching the latter as we speak.

All in all I had fun this weekend. Even managed to go for a nice drive after it all.

i've got my boost gauge hooked up off of the short vacuum line on the intake mani, i don't have any problems.... what kind of gauge is it??

It's an autometer electric boost gauge. It will read 10 vac. adn go up to 14.5 psi when I know th car is at 6. Then sometime it will read 20 vac and 6 psi like it is supposed to. So I was jsut planning to try another spot, cheapest/easiest solution. Know of anywhere there is a vacum line with nothing else attached to it?

installed GT Spec front strut bar
