What have you done to your MSP today?

yep its completely normal.... 19.9 and 20.0 are almost the same number. When you left of the throttle there is very little gas being put into the system thats all and that is what your wibeband is seeing.

Ok I was thinking it might have something to do with the fact that I've been on stock tune since early this year and been dumping fuel like it's goin outta style.

Its easy to change if you don't have a 3 inch dp......then the s*** sucks. Specially where it mmeets the main bearing support plate.

Im Havering kind of a weird issue. While I drive, the voltage reader on my tt creeps down.0.1 volts at a time. When I crank the car up in the am it starts at 14.2v. On a long drive yesterday it got down to 12.9v. It stayed right there around 12.9-13.1 for my several hour drive. Now after talking to some other protege peeps they said it was probably my alternator. Which was likely since I put about 97k Miles the one I bought almost 3 years ago. So I dropped $140 on a new one(brother works at pep boys ftw) and nothing changed. The alt is good, the battery is good. Any thoughts?

Hmm, i've been having electrical problems as well. The voltage is low while it's cranking and the positive terminal on the battery is burnt looking. Sometimes it won't crank the first try.

Quick cam seal questions. which way is the right way to install? left or right?

I tightened all the cam caps down already, so do I have to loosen them all or can I just loosen the two where the oil seals go?

Autocrossed it. Second place in SM. Car drove awesome, just can't compete with a WRX on R-comps. Did beat a 606whp GT500 on 315 Hoosiers, and some other domestics with way more power, and way more tire than me though.

Nice! I'm in SM as well. Does your region accept SMF? I'm sure you would be first. lol

We have these two M3s that always take first And second lol

Thanks!

Yeah they have SMF, but theres only two FWD cars in SM, so kinda pointless. I'm happy beating up on RWD cars anyways, lol.

My MSP needed a bath so I washed it.

I helped a friend replace a radiator in his 05 Cobalt SS/SC. I hate working on Chevy cars, there is no damn radiator cap on this car, the proper procedure is to pull the radiator hose and fill it that way. And we couldnt even get to the thermostat. ****** ridiculous.
He likes my MSP more and more now, replacing the radiator and thermostat is cake on these cars.

heh... Next year I'm going to have to test that prejudice.

Haha sometimes I forget we have a muscle car in our presence. But hey, I don't go to the drag strip and run my Protege unless I would suddenly feel the need to make an ass out of myself. Yea you can put full suspension on a muscle car, but I think they are better off sticking to straight lines.

I won't take offense to it. Stock form, my car turns for s***. Its IRS and a solid axle mustang will out turn it. My rear shocks and sway are in, front sway will go in after I move, and I'm looking at a front coilover setup. After that I'll evaluate the rear springs. All in an effort to get back what I lost when I traded in a stock suspension MSP... lol I'll probably still get embarrassed by the several class-preped civics that run in the area, but I'll bet it will impress you what can be done in a properly set up car.

Yea, I guess it probably would cost you the same amount for a comparable suspension setup as it would to make an FS able to keep up with your car in a straight line lol.
