What have you done to your MSP today?

Got the car back on the road! Had to have the head shaved .010 of an inch after it poped the headgasket. Friend of mine helped me alot. Put it all back together and its running good. Once I hit above 5psi it threw a code though. Gotta figure it out. I also have a grey plug that I could'nt find or remember where it went (on the driverside). Gotta hunt that down.

Found a smokin deal on wheels with brand new snow tires so got those guys on just in time..

Now all I gotta do is get that plug/code issue fixed. Think the rad needs replacing since I get a little bit of steam coming from where it meets the SMIC.

wow. white on spicey is teh sex... and... i want that wing again... ..

Ps:

Anyone with slim fans; do you have room for a 3" intake pipe? Havibg trouble figuring out this intake but thinking a slim deiverside fan would help the situation.

What size should i ask for? Would 2x 12's be.enough? I think they get pretty expensive much bigger.
Car sounded real sexy with open turbo and ssqv though. Shame to put a filter baxk on. Now sounds like a cork popping after bov.

you really only need 1 12" slim fan, unless you plan on running a bigger turbo
and with the right degree coupler you shouldnt have any probems running a 3" intake, im running a 2.75" custom intake easy

and for slim fans, check out JEGS, there fans are awesome, i have 2 of there slim fans and they both are great,
plus there way cheaper then spal fans

ill look into it. have to see what i can get here in the great white north. found someone in town here selling a D-series for dsm turbo manifold... wonder if the flanges are close-ish, cause he is selling the manifold for $60. if the runners are close to the right spot, i might buy it and change the flange...

that isn't as simple as it would seem, and keep in mind you're talking a custom downpipe after that too.

this intake is starting to piss me off lol.... didnt take that into account when putting the bov flange on... maybe i should move it..

lol. i might relocated the bov either to the bottom of the cold pipe on the side, or to the hotpipe. right now i have a 90 pipe coming off the turbo and tucking a filter up next to the maf. not ideal. i think ill heat it up and put a block off plate over the hole, figure out the intake and put the bov in wherever i have room after.

its ok though. these pipes were real cheap, and a good learning experience.

That was featured in either super street or tuner car mag. i cant remember which but they did a review of it and apparently it works AMAZING. they even walked around the car and outside of the garage and it still worked smooth. however this isnt something id be interested in. you have to figure if your using that then your iphoneis pretty much useless while your driving. i dont know about anyone else but i watch my gauges like a hawk, so if someone where to text me while i was in full boost or something id freak out. lol just my two cents.
