What have you done to your MS3 today?

Picked up a set of bc coilvers from a local forum member and got my car back from the body shop. Boy did I miss my car!!

I just love the speed3, IMO it's the best looking car mazda ever made

Well...

I saw an FD today in a metro parking garage...I'm overcome with jealousy every time I see one of those in person.

Finally installed my TWM Shift Base Bushings on my 2010 MS3. Took about 15 minutes, definitely cleaned up the shift-slop and made the shift feel a bit more accurate if that makes sense. All in all I'm happy and think it was worth the money.

ive had this for about a week.

on saturday at work i got to work on it and cut the recirc hose so its not kinking, and was able to get the valve to sit more horizontal so its not rubbing the hood.

and i spent the other day cleaning up the garage so i could get the 7 back in there.

I just got a white 08 MS3 and I want to remove the body side moldings, has anyone had trouble with coloration issues or lots of glue residue when doing this to a (relatively) older car?

Gah hit 30K last night. Going to have to look into brake pads, look into the brakes in general. They didn't feel right last night and have heard of people having the inner pad completely wear down to nothing while still a lot left on the outer pad(i.e. the guy who crashed on the track a few years back). The brake would be hard to push without much braking until I left off and pumped it again...always a fun thing in a snow storm.

They would be fine until you stopped using the brakes for a while and you would have to pump it again for it to feel right.

I pulled mine off my 08' last fall that i've owned 1 and a half years at that point and didn't have any coloration issues. I would highly recommend doing it. when you wash your car you will be able to barely make out the lines where they used to be but about after a month that will go away.....

Awesome, thanks! What I've seen so far is to loosen it with fishing line and just carefully pull it off. Did you have to heat it up first (ie with a hair dryer?) I supposed I could wait until May or June when we start having consistent 100 degree days

It'll be easier if they're heated. Then just use Goo Gone to get the remaining residue off. Then clean and wax the area well.

Just did mine in a parking lot lol, it was probably 70 degrees out, some residue stayed but was easily rubbed off by hand, when its cold its not as sticky and just pulls off. there were a couple spots that did need to be heated a bit to get the goo off, but just like hank said goo gone will get rid of it fo sho, I've had to use that stuff quite a few times...

Spent last night tinkering around to prep for the first AutoX this Saturday...

1. Took apart the center console and shifter to install SU solid shifter bushings.....only to find that the car already had solid shifter bushings. Used Car 1....Me 0

2. Drained tranny fluid at 34k and added Motorcraft synthetic goodness. Really makes a nice difference during cold shifting.

Removed HKS SSQV and Cobb SRI in preparation for a visit to the dealer to diagnose my misfire issue. Just need to buy a new BPV to inlet hose because I had to cut mine with the SSQV then she is ready to go.

Before it comes up, the SSQV was recirculated.

got it all excitd for nothing, fed ex came with my cobb AP and new plugs, but couldn't leave them without signature. SOO i'll get it tomorrow, probably won't install it until sunday
