What have you done to your MS3 today?

Oil change again today. Installed my magnetic plug. Vacuumed interior and swapped stock mats for my weathertechs. Ordered cabin air filters and going to swap those out when they come in. I don't even want to know what they look like at 63k miles. And yes, I am at 63k miles. Makes me sad. Any ideas on other maintenance I should do??

check the power steering fluid

I don't even want to look at my cabin air filter. That was a stupid near un-accessible design.

i disagree. i think they help out a lot, especially if you live in a particularly dusty or dirty environment. they obviously do their job if you ever look at them. i found whole leaves in mine when i replaced them

granted, ours are a b**** to replace, but they are not impossible for even a novice. the best ones are the kind behind the glovebox. i wish my new ram had them

I haven't been on here forever since I have been busy with school so I felt I should get on and see if the community is still alive lol.

Also I've become a minor celebrity on the Ohio Bimmers forum without even knowing it after a road rally I participated in here in Ohio. Let me include some quotes.

"Overall, the rally was great (still upset with myself for not taking my gopro). two roads were unpaved gravel which slowed me down, but not that damn mazda, and one road was under water because the creek raised an was flowing over the road. It was maybe 2 inches submerged was wasn't moving fast enough to be dangerous, but you still have to inch your way across. "

"That Speed3 went Dukes of Hazzard batshit through that gravel.

They were having a conversation about me for a while without me knowing. A friend with a BMW had to show me the post lol. Needless to say I won lol.

That's awesome! Where in OH was this? I would love to come out and watch next year if you're coming up again.

I'm also considering putting up a feeler thread for my 2nd gen wheels. I'm looking at buying new daily wheels but only if I can sell the 2nd gens. I am not about to have 4 sets of wheels hahaha.

Well it technically was in Indiana. I'm going to school in Southwest Ohio so we crossed the boarder into Indiana were we found some really good roads. The event was organized by the motorsports club here at the school. Anyone is welcome to participate in the events. We had a few people from the Bimmer forums participating (thats how I ended up on their forums). So if you wanted to come down and participate you could. However there is a bit of "law bending" going on during this event lol. We plan on having another similar event in the spring so we would have two each year.

I installed an LKQ replacement radio/cd head unit. It was the easiest install ever. It took all of 10 minutes !
I started locking my car all the time after putting the pioneer in
has to be the easiest stereo to steal out there
