What have you done to your MS3 today?

I like everything about laraw's car except for the side skirts.
They way they stick straight out, they look like a step or a running board. I know there aren't very many bodywork options for our cars...

As whole, it's still the best looking MS3 I've seen.

'Love the editorial comment, Nliiitend1, but it doesn't really say anything except that you don't know either.
Most that would want to get around a corner faster, save on drag and improve fuel mileage would remove the wing altogether... and this was done as part of one of the last SCC tests... and that was on an NA 3 w/the smaller OE wing. It's a small improvement, but a significant one.
Putting down force on a FWD car in the rear would tighten up the rear end, yes, but why bother when you can pull out of a corner that you may be drifting into?

I agree, and was only expressing my personal opinion.
Here are some of mine. It too is white, though I have an '04 (non-MS3).

It doesn't take a degree in aerospace engineering to understand that a well-designed rear spoiler on a FWD car adds high-speed stability, particularly during braking at very high (track-like) speeds.

Does it make a difference on an autocross course? Not likely, but I can assure you that when braking for a turn coming down from 130 mph it helps keep the back end from getting squirrely.

gotta pay 100 bucks out of pocket. not bad the only thing they stole was a zune car charger lol. because that was the only thing i had in there lol.

Thanks :) I appreciate it. I actually really like the side skirt add-ons. They don't stick out too much, I think the photos may be a bit deceiving on that count.

yea looks pretty good to me, any pics with the leds on?

Sure thing!

Pretty sure the MPS actually has a smaller wing, they say for stability for higher speeds.

Who says that?? Do you have a source you can point us to?

The MPS just uses the regular 3 wing.

Regardless, my response was more to point out that the idea that only RWD vehicles have a real use for a rear wing is incorrect, and that on a high speed course a FWD car will easily benefit from having a properly designed rear wing. I wasn't even speaking directly to the MS3/3 MPS...

Car went in to get a few things taken care of today... Bumper, fog light, a door ding, ect..... I also told them to take a look around the suspension and tighten everything up. I checked the other day and my endlink bolt was loose making the regular clunk noise I think we have all heard before So I wanted to see if they really do check. Any bets I get the car back with a endlink bolt still loose? I bet any ammount of money they see my BC coils and avoid the suspension all together.

I think some of that is the lens. Distortion, but to a lesser extent, I have to agree with you.
Personally, I'm not all that crazy about the rear wing extension. It is a FWD car so what is the purpose of a huge rear wing anyway?
On a positive note though: I love the wheels you chose for it!! You may not want to hear this, but they look a lot like the same style as the 2010 MS3 wheels, which I highly prefer over the 1st gen stockers.

yeah, im trying to get my hands on some 2gen OEM wheels and get them PC'd hyperblack

rotated the tires and painted the breaks and put on some mud flaps long day haha, off topic but were can i fine the rear spoiler extension i cant seem to find it anywhere?

Replaced the piston, seal, rings and re-greased my Forge BPV and added a shim. It definitely needed it, I could tell a difference just from the suction test. Now I know what it is supposed to be like.
