What have you done to your MP3 today???

This is still something I need to change...
Hopefully your Texas weather was better to them then my northern one because that was a night I'd rather not relive. I still have one of the 8 (or 10?) screws that was never replaced because it's virtually impossible to get in there with the right tools, including a tap, without taking out metal from the surrounding area; such a poor design!

New wheels, new tires, alignment. (thumb)

They're dirtyyy... Wash and legit pics, tmrw night hopefully. (The white on the edge of the wheel is just lube from mounting the tires)

I need to upgrade to MZ6 front brakes & MSP rear brakes, asap. Tiny, rusty rotors, ftl...

Washed the car this morning. Afterwards, I noticed a random nut in the driveway. Then I recalled a small ping sound as I rolled my car out of the garage before washing it. I saved the nut in my shift boot, and drove the family to church. When I parked, there was a loud metal thud sound. After church, I jacked my car up and investigated. It turns out the top nut to the passenger-side end link had decided to back off, and leave the end link hanging in the wind... Some of the threads on then end link were damaged. I gather this was from this possibly being a problem longer than I knew about (loose nut, and threads rubbing in the hole of the strut tab). Luckily I was able to get it threaded back on, and fixed.

almost have the turbo install done, just waiting on the turbo gaskets and i will install it. water lines and oil drain are ready to go. just gotta install the oil filter plate to get the feed. also have to wire up the gauges. maybe like 2-3 hours worth of work left.

New (to me) injectors, New injector o-ring & seal kits & AWR trailing arms should arrive from USPS shortly. I'm praying my vac leak will be gone once I replace the injectors and seals... The whistle through my intake is getting old.

Have an appointment on Saturday morning to get my windshield replaced (2 years overdue...). After this gets done, some vinyl is going on. :D

Recently done on my MP3:

-Removed motor and trans
-Disassembled 6 year old engine (was surprisingly in good shape despite all of the abuse)
-Yesterday, I brought my engine to the machine shop for an overbore, align hone, etc.

I actually drove mine again. Ha I need to finish what I am working on so the FUN can begin....

Washed, Polished, and waxed the car yesterday. Hopefully will putting on the light weight crank pulley on today.

Got my test wheel back from my friend and got the tire installed with no issues. I had the stock RH sand blasted then had him dremel the curb rash, prime, paint and clear. We went with Rustoleum midnight metallic.
