What have you done to your Miata today?

It went to a good owner he is very happy with it and said I could come drive it whenever I like.. I had my fun with it but was ready for something different.

That's good news at least. But that doesn't mean we can't give you a hard time!

You were coming down so far in price, I was almost considering it! :)

I briefly considered trading mine in (again) for an NC, but when I looked up the KBB price I was shocked... so I'm keeping it. I've been working on a list of upgrades I want to do over time, eventually I'd like to get to everything. For now, I'm gonna check my exhaust since a friend said it sounds like I have a leak.

hahaha, yeah I did sell her technically for more than i wanted, but less than what it should of gone for. I needed it gone by the end of this month though so i am overall very happy.
and after selling all my mods, I got more for the car than i should have. all in all happy.

Oh man with some sticky tires you would've destroyed me. The acceleration! I don't think a Miata should do that. :) Looks like a good run too btw. :)

I wish I had thought about it before but I have a set of 949s with RE-11s in my garage. They're only 205s but they would've been better than the DWs.

Not only did you beat me by 0.03 seconds... but you also get a trophy for it! LOL. If I ever see that thing, I'm going to post a sticky note on it saying "Beat 2 MSM's, an MR2, and an S2000 with 100 whp"

^ Nice find!

I am going to start trying different methods to improve my boost response... adjusting the BOV preload, installing an EBC, and adjusting timing+fuel. Any words of wisdom?

EBC is going to be by far the best method. I'd do that first. If you still need help, then maybe start playing around with the wastegate.

I like the tru boost for that, you can change the spring load when the wastegate opens and play with the duty cycle to get the boost you want. After you're done, you can have 2 settings and quickly switch between them

Good idea. I'll start with the EBC to get initial spool-up sorted. My MS has EBC control setup in it, but I've never used it.

I will then fiddle with the BOV preload to help between-shift response, then see if I can eek anything else out with timing and fuel.

soo... found a roll bar for $325, gonna pick it up on Saturday :)

thats awesome! i found our that bethania garage is located in my friends town down in NC. so this winter im gonna take a trip down to see him, some family, and get a new roll bar without that $85 shipping fee. gotta love it when a vacation can bring even more fun :)

Pablo, are you coming down this way to pick up the roll bar? Too bad I have to leave Saturday morning or we could try to hook up.

Finally got the center section of my butterfly brace installed again. I forgot what a right-royal PITA that is. Also adjusted my bypass valve so it's working better, I was getting a kick in the boost like a turbo. Now it's back to being seamless. Replaced the factory sealing washer for the temperature sensor with the O-ring and backing washer the guy I bought the reroute spacer from provided. There was a small leak from the sensor, I have to check it now once it cools to see if the O-ring corrected the leak.

I am, shooting to be there by 10 AM. I thought about letting you know but I have to get back right away since I have to work later that day, there is some construction on the road so I don't know if I'll be stuck.

Yeah, I know it's a haul for you. Sorry we can't say hello this time.

Just checked and no more leakage from around the reroute spacer. Success!
