What have you done to your Miata today?

And from what I've been reading the wide band should let me eeek out every last hp

It will let you get the fuel trim right, but power comes in the timing. You can't tune timing with a wideband. So... no.

Fits good

Radio is out, but since I unplugged the amp wires, my speakers started to whine with the rpms

I'll also be painting it black (either plastidip or something with a slightly rough finish)

I'm actually kinda liking it left raw, it matches the wheel and e-brake handle

What are the lights under the headlight/hazard buttons.

spent quite some time working on the car today, installed the converter for the trailer lights, washed, clay bar, etc...

looks great!

i picked up and adj eibach rear sway today and ended up with a few extra parts...NB door cards and a center console

Thanks guys, the trailer is pretty much set now, all I need is a plate for it (and wheels\tires to haul around...). I other news, my dad said he might get me some of the money he owes me so I might be ordering the roll bar soon... I'm dying to get this thing on track, I haven't pushed it much but the new tires so far feel pretty good

Sounds awesome, Pablo! I'll help put that bar in. It's definitely a multi-person job.

Finally fixed blinking air bag light by just unplugging the air bag module and sticking a zip tie in the connector per this post: http://forum.miata.net/vb/showpost.p...4&postcount=64

(Picture from post linked above).

Once that was done I removed the air bag module and the back up power supply altogether since I plan on never fixing it and eventually replacing the steering wheel with a non-air bag version. And, I zip tied the dangling alarm wire that I unplugged forever ago so it won't hit me in the foot when I'm shifting!

I've done a few things since I decided not to get the roll bar and focus on autox and learn the car

FM downpipe, got rid of the turbo lag and power is really smooth. A bit louder but not that bad, need to do the rest of the exhaust eventually

bracket for the MBC, now it doesn't hang from a hose with a zip tie anymore

AEM CAI, man I like this one, it sounds like a turbo car now. I can hear the tubo spooling and the BOV going off :)

nice work!

well not today, but sat:
installed new RB rear sway bar (3 point adj)
new conti rubber 205/45/ DW's
1/4" spacers from miata cage (they may really cool roll cages)
4 wheel alignment

all i can say is wow...i'm certain the tires have made the biggest difference, the ride is much smoother, monster grip and no more HOWLING from those stupid parada's!

Link to post is broken it seems. I'm very interested in this fix... I've got the same annoyance.

Same, but not loving it haha.
I need to get a little something :( I have the money to do so, its just bringing myself to spend it.

Lets see... 4 new Dunlop Star Specs, Racing beat sways, 2001 console, new foglamps, new top (its going to the upholstery shop tomorrow to be installed), rear diff drain/fill, coolant drain & fill w/ Toyota red, brand new OEM floormats... much more to come.. someones going to get a realllly nice Miata when I sell it, LOL

Yeah someone is going to get lucky! It's going to be one of the ever so elusive "needs nothing" Miatas.
