Dug car out today (16 inches total). Also had some fun sideway drift. I LOVE this car.

A leak in the rear axle is nothing to worry about? Hmm, ok! Well finally got home, I got activated for State Emergency Duty (Missouri Guard). Got to do some patrols looking for stranded motorists. Had a good time busting through 5' snow drifts in the HMMV! And almost got one stuck! Ran across a few people, and found about a dozen cars. Some of them all I could make out is the roof of the car. A little unnerving digging down to the windows and finding a car seat. But I just got released and didn't get to enjoy the snow in the speed since they plowed everythingJust got back from the dealer, had engine oil, transmission oil, read diff oil and oil filter changed, and tire rotation. Was told that i had a leak in the rear axle, nothing to worry about, but something to keep an eye on. Finally switched to synthetic oil, only $35 after a rebate. It was a costly visit, but well worth it since i dont know if the previous owner changed the transmission and rear diff fluids...car has 57k miles, it had 48k when i bought it. I love the rarity of these cars...got a lot of compliments from the service guys, they stated i was the first with a speed6 to visit them(new Mazda dealership that opened up 2-3 months ago.)
