What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Dropped off the new wheels (and tires) to get them repaired/painted and mounted. Should have them back next week.

Driving the car after installing the grounding kit, I believe it has better throttle response as well as a better idle. Not 100% sure but it sounds a little different as well.

this is gay seriously take it to another thread. instead of crapping all over this one..

and it suprises me steve continues to go along with it.

this is the what have you done to your MS6 today thread, not the BMW thread..

if it doesnt stop ill PM Antoine about it..

Calm down, this has become the unofficial discussion thread for 6 owners. It doesn't stay off topic for long and it's not that far off to begin with. If there was a problem, myself or another mod would have stepped in.

If you remember, this has to do with people wanting to move on from the MS6, which is still relative to this thread.

I'm contemplating putting the throttle restriction back on with my hypertech tune... it's kinda rough, since at like 1/8th pedal position the car takes off once it hits 2500rpm. not a smooth ride.

after this weekend, of course. There's a car show/track expo up near chicago. You actually get to take your car (or they have loaners like the ISF, CTS-V, and Cayman S) on the track for 20-30 mins and drive. I know its not the best or most exciting, but you don't need a racing license or anything. Also contemplating saying **** the MS6 and taking the Cayman S or ISF out to play!

Ordered AWR mounts for the engine and transmission this week. Hopefully they'll get rid of the clunk coming from the front of my car.

Relax, don't get your panties in a twist.

You'll love it. I have the AWR 70 duro (or whatever the softer one is) and it made a huge difference, even more so with the solid shifter bushings.

Sorry guys, last BMW post 4 me!

Alright I said I'd get Qwik a pic of my friends 335i and here it is. He has the wheels in gun metal currently and I think i like them better but the black is nice too. Still say Evo=ooo look at me, BMW=class, style, and power.

I need to Rain-X the windshield and/or put new wipers on mine. The streaking on the pass. side window is getting annoying, and I have kept putting off wipers because I thought I might make it work a little longer.

I was broke AND drove a bad car until I was 22.

my first s*** car was driven from 16 to 20 yrs old.
from that point on i had decent cars, the MS6 being the nicest so far.
after this it is either Audi or the FAR future iteration of the MS6... lol i wish.

You are correct Funkster it's 300/300. An article in road and track has it's 0-60 at 4.8. Ours stock was what over 6 sec right. With a 26 HP difference stock for stock and relatively the same weight thats strangly much faster, I'll say it again I think they're understated on HP.

over 6 sec? nah. professional drivers have recorded 0-60 times @ 5.4sec... stock MS6. reaction time, and knowing how to launch. neither of which many average drivers are good at. according to my dashhawk my best 0-60 so far is 6.39 sec. not that great, but getting close to the 6 mark!
