What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

I have the same tails. They are great. I have no problems with them. I got them from the group buy. I have nothing but good to say about F4D Lightening. I was impressed on how he conducted business.

Me too. Even though I did have a couple issues with my tails. He responded quickly. But I had to wait for him to get his inventory back up and he will trade me for new ones.

Installed a Cobb SF Intake and stubby intenna. great googamooga is the intake loud... I can't believe how loud it is in city driving. Its obnoxious...

the pg sri and tip combo is louder. the silicone really keeps it quiet compaired to the metal.

i just put in an aem digital boost gauge.

with how loud this is I might look for a CP-E CAI... I hear its a little more subdued. After driving it a little more tonight, however, I found it can be quiet if you stay out of the boost! I had no idea how much I was boosting when just putting around town... this will force me to drive a little more sane!

I don't need to take the bottom of the airbox out, do I? There's the part where a CAI filter would go and I didn't take it out... is that OK? theres a tube for air to get in and I didn't notice any troubles driving around today...

oh, also im running without the Cobb bracket, heard horror stories about that thing. With the recirc line being pretty stiff and the silicone on there good It looks like its staying on there...

haha yeah no kidding, Funkster if you think thats loud, imagine a 4 inch straight pipe coming off your turbo or hell no intake at all , ill be running that.:)(drive2)

just upped my load values in the lower 4 gears all by about 0.1 points, woo 18 psi with no knock and 1600+ psi all the way up.

also adjusted 5th's load, now i hold 16.5-17 psi with no knock and only a small dip just under 1600 psi :) woot woot. still left 6th alone, who needs to go up to 155mph... gay.

Sitting at the dealership right now waiting to see what they say about my smoking issue.. I got here a little early and let the car idle in the Hardees parking lot down the road for about 20 minutes to make sure it would smoke good for them lol.. willgive updates as they come in..

Already have an update.. tech said they are going to change the oil again, drive it and give it about 20 minutes or so to see if it quits, if it don't they are going to call Mazda.. he said they have a '10 MS3 here doing the same thing..

Gave the interior a good run down yesterday.....now shes all nice and clean!

Sadly, I also found out that I had a nail in my tire. Took it down to Discount Tire and its going to run me $600+ for a full set of replacements :( Then after that, I went to the dealer where I bought the car to look at getting my rear bumper replaced. THAT s*** AINT CHEAP! :( $268 for the plastic trim that goes around the exhaust and another $580+ for a unpainted bumper! :( Needless to say, my day kinda sucked......

Went through the same deal on my plastic trim around the exhaust. Only my girlfriend works at the local mazda dealership and got it for me for $200 and installed myself. I broke one mounting clip that holds the bumper on by the right, rear tire well. And I just got some epoxy and she is good as new now. What happened with yours?

Just changed the PTO fluid after picking up a 24mm socket (very necessary for the fill bolt; a box wrench won't get up there). Used gear oil smells bad, but the PTO was the worst of the bunch.

Also removed the bumper to find out why my left xenon fog wasn't coming on and to re-tape the ballasts. I'm still not sure why it wasn't working, but after unplugging it and plugging it back in, it's working fine.

(One of these days, I'll get around to installing those H&Rs I bought off Steve...)
