Seriously?! Ive had mine since Feb and I've put over 10k on it

I live on base...so I only drive it MAYBE 5-10 miles a day to and from work, or the store etc.....plus I still have the Turboyata (which is unfortunately getting delivered to its new owner in the Spring/Summer '11)...or the Wife's Turbo CX to choose from.
Since I got it with mid-90k miles...I wanted to take it easy on the mileage.
The MS6 is a true collector's item

Enjoyed some sideways action by shifting into 4th and dropping the hammer. Definitely never felt that in the MS6.

im in the middle of swapping shift cables... my dash is out of the car... HVAC looks like a pita tho

I got mine with 48k in July 09.....

it now has 73k. But I did drive from San Diego, CA to Minot, ND.....
and I do regular trips from Minot to Bismarck, so 200mi round trip.


and I put my car sideways in a snow filled parking lot today.

good news bad news... after i dropped it off today i was notified of a family emergency that if serious enough (thankfully its only serious and not a tragidy) could have had me driving to the MA/NY border area(note my location being prince edward island, Canada)....

so i phoned back to the dealer and said i may have an emergency, any chance you can squeeze it in to see if its atleast save to drive

they phoned back a while later and said bad news, diff mount is sheared off... the car isnt going anywhere, it's typically considered abuse not a defect, but we're going to see if we can get it covered under your MAP warranty

anyways... that story is mostly bad news but the good news being that my sister, her husband, and their 1 year old daughter are all alive and not majorly injured trumps all the bad news associated with my breaking things... i'll find out monday or tuesday if they'll be able to cover it under warranty.. untill then, quality time with the tercel!

i got my shift cables swapped yesterday... good news no squeaks or rattles from removing the entire dash! also i used FFS for the first time 1-4, no grinds, shifts like butter!! im kind of excited to drive my car again.

Dave, if they don't replace it, get on the horn with SU or CP-e and upgrade the mount ASAP. You'll have peace of mind from here on out. Glad to hear that everyone is alive and going to be alright.

thats the one thing thats been driing me nuts, my 1-2 gear are a PAIN in the ass to shift at high rpm and 2-3 sometimes dont open. is this mu clutch or my tranny being funny?? i think i just need to change / refill my tranny fluid but eh im not sure

installed my greddy carbon fiber air diffuser. gonna do a little trimming for better fitment. also ordered up a set of Hella Supertone horns.

theres gonna be some arguing come monday though, i had a strange feeling so i dropped down to the dealership this afternoon and sure enough my car is sitting there on the lot with all the doors unlocked with a pair of my oakleys and my dashhawk sitting on the passenger seat
