I also seen that alternator and I'll be ordering one as well.. my electrical system can't even keep up with my front door speakers and amps let alone putting my sub amp and subs in there.
I'll be running about 350 amps so I'm hoping even that 250 amp will keep up at least a little LOL.
I may have to even Fab up a bracket for a second one and get rid of my AC compressor.

So I did end up ordering the rear spoiler from BaysonR. I do wish it came with some kind of template to show where to drill. I have a decent idea, but I don't want my tailgate looking like swiss cheese if I drill wrong.

That was the main reason I went with "TheSpoilerStore", but honestly I think some double sided tape w/ a sharpee dot on the center hole could work too

Wow I didn't even know about this site! Thank you I was just checking it out I might try to order a front and rear lip for mine. I just have to cut out the extra exhaust on the rear lip but it looks good. Spoiler is actually really really cool too! Looks pretty big on the Mazda.
Guess I'll have to try to find out if they ship to Canada

Love the spoiler bro! Looks great but that escort in the background is classic! Lol. I use to have a 97 zx2 turbo'd with bodykit and Lambo doors. Ahh those were the days!

Been thinking about Bed lining the exterior of my 5 with raptor liner in black. I've always liked the look. But I'm unsure if I should pay a professional or DIY it. If I do DIY it I'm thinking two coats of roll on followed by a spray can.

That's cool. I've eyeballed it several times thinking it would look pretty sweet with few mods.

It has been too long since I have been around here, but I still have my 5 and why not work on things it sorely needs. One of my biggest gripes with the car is NVH. Today, I've installed the Hoodliner (by Dynamat) under my hood. I'll post just the final step here, but I will add a separate post with all the little details (not many).

I immediately drove the car in my neighborhood. I think the engine was just not warmed up, so above 2K rpm, it still sounded rough. However, I did notice it was quieter when idling. I will update, once I hit a highway and see what it sounds like then.

Every other section has a thread like this.

It is about time that the Mazda5 has one too!

Post here about all of the things you have done to, and with your Mazda5. Whether it be a wash, new wheels, getting the groceries (wiggle) or just driving around town. There are so many things that Mazda's multi-utility vehicle can do!

I... washed her and cleaned her inside and out. Ooooh shiny!

Getting her all ready for road trip #4 this weekend! Almost half of the miles we have put on her have been from road trips. She has always been a very comfortable touring vehicle.
Liking the wheels. I have a 2015 gs with alloys but not like yours. Maybe time to upgrade.

Loaded the Mazda5 up with pallets. In case you were wondering, the cargo area with both rows of seats folded down will fit 5 standard 48"x40" pallets perfectly, plus one up on the roof.

With lumber prices being so high right now, I have to get creative and resourceful if I'm going to build anything. And you can't go wrong with free skids!

Thanks for posting Anthony, I was just wondering if pallets would fit! I want to bring some home from work for the fire pit.
Smart idea. If you can, bring a saw or sledgehammer with you to break them down — probably could fit 10 pallets worth of wood in there!

Yes, it's absolutely necessary in my opinion. The job isn't difficult at all, just time consuming getting the factory RTV off.
Why? I bought mine with 85k and 2yrs ago. Had the dealer flushed. They had to flush twice to get the color right!

Wondering what should be my next service? Drain & fill without changing the tranny filter?
