YOU brought up the 206 possibly being street legal fool.....and North AMerica includes the USA so y r u bringing up cars that cant be used over here....id love to see a stock supra take a stock 360 in the 1/4 please show me this.....and y can a stock 32K car match or possibly take a 90K car in the quater i guess all the Japanese laps the NSX has done did things in other places than performance and Italian design is just plain amazing (performance) and style is subjective so if u want to go off in a rant about a topic with no real answer by all means make urself look stupid

oh and ive seen in person JEEPS take Mustang GT's... so i guess there real fast cars if u say so.... and did i ever say the NSX wasnt a good car, i just asked how it was innovative.... open ur gook eyes and read

& why cant we compare used nsx's? wouldnt u buy a used ferrari? I sure as hell know i would if i could afford it. I feel its all about market value. Of course there is no reason to go out & pay 90K for a brand spankin new nsx. Go save yourself the bux & get a used one. Same with the wrx, dont go out & buy the new '04, spend ~$17 & get the 02. It's the same machine.

One simple point of how innovative the nsx was is how it introduced vtec to the production market. Its suspension design & MR setup put its handling in supercar territory.

Most manufacturures have a strong point somewhere in the automotive industry (except daewoo & kia) & deserve some attn for it. Some have decided to not offer any of it to the american market (so what).

Maybe, just maybe, ferrari will figure out how to produce an amzing car w/a reasonable price point.

A 355 TESTAROSSA HAHAHAHAHA LOL HAHAHAHAH.... i dont know can somebody tell me if that model was made im not really sure did they make a hybrid F355 and a 512 Testarossa.... or did u wanna race a 512 or a 355... holy s*** thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard... espically comeing from a " car enthusist".... for someone to act like they know so much about cars and act like im not a car enthusis since i didnt know something about a Japanese car..im sorry but i wouldnt waste any more of my time aruging with someone like u...i thought this could have gotten good with someone who "knows" so much about Ferraris and cars but...... Lets get back to hp vs tq debate.
High TQ is good for low end pull, the push into your seat, high horsepower is high end pull.
But remember, its not just hp and tq, its the gearing in your transmission, shorter gears usually pull harder, but top end sucks, longer gears are well, more top end.
Thats not exactly right, but its how alot of cars pull low or high.
My friends 150hp, similar weight 240 auto, will get dragged on by my friends 140hp/127tq integra 5spd, till about 80 mph, then the 240 just walks him. Its all about gearing.

I would hope for 90K u get close to the level of a supercar ur paying supercar money.... and i guess since Ferrari doesnt make afforable cars there cars are not as good as other cars.... same goes for lambo, Bugatti, Maserati, Pagani there and Ferrari def. doesnt have a strong point racing, passion, desgin, performance....i guess those areas most have went right by you ( but then again how many things can u grasp at all), and tell me another supercar company that sell cars thats start off no less than 140,000 and sell 4,000 units per year..... thank you come again.... and the wop u hear must be from never really hearing a true supercars engine at 8K... theres no shame in drooling over ture performance

I take great offense to your last comment. More so because I am asian. Let me try to make this real simple for you. Not everything here needs to turn into a ferrari vs the world debate. There are oogles of cars that I would take over most ferraris. Currently the only ferrari that appeals to me would be the enzo. It was less than 2 weeks ago you were practically having the same arguement with another member over the same damn thing.

Sorry if i made a mistake, but at least i dont' make racial remarks. I meant I would race a stock 355 against a stock rx7. Now what do u think, is this much better?? And i guess i really piss you off with the ferrari thing didn't I? Well personally I like ferrari and prefer them over the other italian cars for it's overall package. But as for your remark on car that performs well for a cheaper price it happens everywhere and it's call competition. You should know it.

And as for asking what is the value of NSX here now? And as for why some 1 would get that over a wrx sti, well it's a matter of personal taste, wouldn't you agree? As for racing I stick with NSX than STi, cuz awd isn't better option for road course racing than NSX. I'll admit STi kicks alot of cars in dirt, snow conditions, and awful awful road surfaces, but when are you exactly going to take a 32k car and try to go at ludicruous speed on icy surface?

I think I prove my point, don't you think?? As for you trying to compare 04 WRX STi to basically a 1990 NSX is like trying to compare MS word to a mechanical typewriter or a pentium 4 to a 386 cpu. Of course the older vehicle is going to lose, but hey at least you get to own a piece of history and that's what you pay for in that 90k. If you morons even look at the ******* Time Sheets, a Type S is slower than a Mazdaspeed in every category. If you get beat by any kind of Honda I'd be very sad for you. The only people that buy Hondas any more are the **** heads that jumped on the import bandwagon after Fast and the Furious came out. I must say, I am truly apalled by this thread. First off, I am not a **** head that saw fast and furious to many times, I bought a HONDA because it was a great car at a good price. I have no beef with any Mazdas out there, but this is truly bulls***. Some of you are almost as bad as the Supra SE owners w/ god complexes. If my car came from the factory with a turbo, then it would sure as hell give you a run for your money. What's is your problem?? I know many honda owners that have spanked MSP, and I also know of some that have been spanked. Wait, did you get beat by a honda, is that why you hate them so much? I do have to say this is pretty brave talk from a car that has 170 hp turboed, wihle mine, stock comes w/160hp. Don't diss honda's because of your damned complex, they are very nice cars.

Not really, I got lucky, he was a bad driver, Like mazdaslow guy. I had a guy up my boost to 9.5PSI to race the guy, just barely got him at the end, but I had it at the beginning when he spun a little nuts off the line. It is possible to beat the Honda S2k, especially when your lucky, and the driver sux.

I have, but the punk had a JDM motor....to compensate for that i smoked a guy with an electric purple prelude. It was an automatic with some headers, exhaust, engine was port and polished, and some other stuff. I have to admit though, after one twenty he started to inch on me pretty fast. So i slowed down and he knew that i was done spankin him. (smash) I pulled off at a local BK to enjoy the victory after he gave me the thumbs up! (2thumbs)
