I got on order the short ram cobb intake , and i plan on eventualy maybe getting the AP , but i am not sure what exhaust to order, mostly because i want best compatability with the cobb AP , to run stage 2 it says Cobb intake and tbe , but i dunno what tbe they mean , im new to the tuning world so i dont want to **** it up :)

From what i been gathering in the last 2 weeks i got my car im thinking of getting the CP-E turbo back exhaust, wich seems to be nice , altho its not the cheapest ( i dont mind paying for quality ) and im not sure what options i would need it asks as options , 12 inch oval muffler or not , 6 inch muffler pipe or straight pipe , highflow cat or not ,

i also like the cp-e since it has the cat and all , when i look at corksports setup , it has downpipe , racepipe , and catback , they dont mention the cat , would i have to order the dp,cb and a highflowcat

more..

ok after thinking more i think i will wait before i put a downpipe on , so not to void the warranty ,

but , if i put a Test Pipe + Catback , will it void warranty also ? or only downpipe ,

also , is it legal to run a testpipe on the road ( i am from canada)

**********s TP is not available yet , so do you guys recommend corksport test/race pipe + a catback , or what other test/race pipe is there out there to pick from ,

or should i just go put a CP-E TBE ,

lol, also , would corsksport Race pipe + catback + cobb intake , work well with the cobb AP ,

With the test pipe, you're pushing it with the warranty in my opinion just because you're messing with emissions equipment. Cat-back, you'd probably be safe. I know it's illegal in the States to run a test pipe (Federal crime actually), but not sure about your emissions laws in Canada. Corksport is a popular exhaust, along with CP-e and GHL.

ok

so to really gain a bit of power from exhaust your pushing the warranty,

got it , ty

ill just get a catback for now i think , see how the car goes its still pretty new , 5 000 km's , ill put the good stuff when im not afraid of breaking it :)

i guess Cobb AP , screws the warranty also?

Cobb AP... yes, if they're smart enough to read the ECU and see it's not a stock flash, you're probably up $hit's creek without a paddle.

You would remove the ap maps and put it back to stock before you go to the dealer.

Dont bother with a cbe if you are looking for gains because there will not be any hp gains. You have to get a full tbe if you want more hp.Cobb is coming out with a exhaust soon I think,Give them a call and see what they say,Or you could just add a test pipe for now since a test pipe is easy to take on and off for dealer visits.A test pipe will add some hp but nothing like getting a tbe.As of now there are no AP maps for a test pipe and may never have any,They are only making maps for tbe.You may want to look into a stock exhaust mod to save you some money. That is just removing a resonator or the muffler to change the sound some and add a test pipe. That is what I did untill my warranty is up and then I will add a dp or a full tbe.

ya i think testpipe and a catback just for the hell of it maybe , or just test pipe and stock exhaust until Cobb makes an exhaust ,

ill wait for the maps till i get the AP then , just intake and test pipe should be fine till i rack up km's ,

thx again , im loving this car zoom zoom

i wanna make a beast , but i need it for travel to work alot im scared to break it ,
