what else??? the subwoofer

^^^
HAHAHA! Anywho...I guess it is the wrong forum, but it does have to do with the MSP. As for the "new' sub...it's the same sub, but fixed so that the wires don't come loose inside it like what happened on the old ones. Bad Kenwood QC is all it was...don't worry about it. The new ones are fine (so far I've had it for a couple months without problem). Also, serach the audio forum for a thread titled "MSP Sub settings" or something like that. 1STy goes apeshite on me for cranking my faux EQ settings all wrong and recommends different, safe ones! Enjoy!

You do what ever you like, not my stereo and looks good from my house.
(rofl)

They're all safe now:
Low EQ boost - (0)
Mid EQ boost - (+1)
High EQ boost - (+2)

This should prolong the life of the system. Actually, you could probably turn the High EQ down, but I like to hear crisp highs, (which is basically all my kenwood home system puts out, very little bass...need to buy sub..actually that's why I just use my Klipsch ProMedias for most of my listening).

MAN, I FEEL YOU ON THAT, MU SUB DOESNT WORK NOR DOES MY CD PLAYER, THE CD PLAYER DOESNT EVEN CLOSE ALL THE WAY WHEN YOU TURN OFF THE CAR, I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY HAD TO ORDER THE ENTIRE SYSTEM BRAND NEW, SO NOW IM STUCK WITH NO MUSIC FOR ANOTHER WEEK AND A HALF!!!

still waiting for an opportunity to get mine fixed. ...grrr...bah whatever, now i gotta deal with the whole MISSING RADIO thing...

 @ Life

My sub has been fine..I turned down the gain a bit on the amp and that helped..but i'm sure there is a problem with some of the subs.

To elminate that rattle noise when you turn up your sub just throw a piece of foam or dynamat between the amp and box...it works great, eliminates all that rattling!

more problems with the sub

another problem is the amp is mounted upside down, it cant properly dissipate the heat.
