What effect can a hybrid valve have on an AP map, if any?

turboxs valve has been on for the life of the car; my stock map logs were awesome, afr's steady and safe in the 10+ range.

how could the valve effect AP maps and specifically AFR's, if at all?

If you have it venting to atmosphere, then it'll have some affect. If it's venting back to the intake then it should not be much different than stock with that valve as that's what I had on when my map was developed with Christian at Cobb over the summer. I asked him if he had any concern with me putting the stock BPV on over the winter and he said no. I've confirmed that the fuel trims (LTFT) are very similar too.

BTW, my turboxs BPV has the 80mm spring and all 6 washers in ...

EDIT - just noticed this is the MS3 section ... my car's an MS6 - likely no change anyway.

The ap doesnt have a vta map option? Thats odd. I would think that would be a must have for all the paul walker jr.s who have to hear their valve to impress the hondas!
