What do you think I can get? $$$

I have a 2002 Black Mica P5 that has been rebuilt from and insurance write off. It sounds worse than it really is but the car is in beautiful shape, no issues with driveability and the KM's are very low for the year.

I want to sell it to upgrade to a M3 in the new year and just want to put some feelers out for how much I think I can get for it. Here are the specs.

2002 P5 Black Mica
55,000 Km's
Winter Blizaks on 15" steelies (one winter)
Summer Kumho Ecsta 16" (one summer)
Cloth interior
Tint front/back

(New front shocks, EGR Valve, Brakes & Rotors installed late summer)

If anybody has an idea what I can ask for this car I would appreciate your help.

Thanks.

if it's an insurance write off, can it even be registered?

Yes in Canada if a vehicle is able to be rebuilt it can be, but with the term SALVAGE on the title. Its obviously worth less but it all depends on how the car was damaged in the accident.

I paid 12,900 for it a year ago with 32,000 km's

i would say more around the 7-8K (canadian???) of course the physical condition and driveability would need to be as good as you've stated

I took the car to a reputable mechanic to have it looked over with a fine tooth comb before I bought it. The car checked out and I have had no real issues with it since I have had it except normal wear and tear.

I still think with a salvage title, there is no way you are going to get anything like what you are wanting. kbb in Excellent condition is still only like 11 dealer retail. That would be about 9 for private party, but the salvage title is going to kill you.
