Troof. Take it easy, guys. It's his car -- if he likes it, good for him.

Not my cup of tea, personally, but no need to razz on the owner like that. If you don't like it -- just say so in a respectful way, wish him luck, and go on your way.

I've never really been into those large touring style spoilers. I think they match the more sporty coupe cars, such as Supra's and RX-7's. I like the stock 2003.5 rear spoiler more.

I saw a pretty cool wing on an 85 skylark in Charlotte that involved 2 pieces of 2x4 adn a this strip of 3/8" plywood, and some sheet metal screws.

HAr har

ANyway, it is a nice wing, and a nice car, just IMO not so much together. Its like bobby and whitney, great performers apart, but goes straight to s*** when in the same zip code together.

IMO, the best wing for the Protege is the stock 03 wing. However, if you have exterior mods that compliment it, other wings have potential. Take Pirana's evo wing for example. Personally, I don't care much for the wingless look, might as well take the mazdaspeed badge off as well.

yeah totally agree with that...with a bodykit the evo wing actually works out ok. There was someone on here with a blue 2003.5 w/ a kit and evo wing that looked ok.

I dont like it at all. I dont think it matches one bit. Doesnt flow with the body lines and is not making a good image for mazdaspeed protege owners. I am submitting your picture to www.anti-rice.com (rice)
