What did you pay for your MSM?

2003 MazdaSpeed Protege
I have been looking at them for a while, but now they are offering them for $18,500 OTD and I think I could still shave a little off that. I was just wondering what everyone has paid for theirs especially the ones who just bought one. I wan't make sure if I did decide to trade in my MSP, I would get the best deal possible for the MSM...

Dealers around here don't want Speed Proteges, they sold way too cheaply brand new... but 18,500 is a great price for the MSM. Neat little car, I really liked the one I testdrove.

That sounds like a deal to me. Hell even the first MSRP of $26K sounded like a deal to me considering you got a turbo for the same price as a loaded n/a miata.

Dude, around here you cant even get a base miata for $18K, much less a MSM (we are not a Mazdaspeed Authorized dealer :( )

Well I'm local in Ft Worth, and paid more than they're going for now...

There's a couple local dealers offering good deals.

Town North, $7000 off MSRP

Hillard was showing 18,500 on their website a week or so ago, but I can't find it now. Eitherway, with production of Miata's halted due to the fire, I don't expect they're going to drop a lot more since dealers aren't going to be getting any more of them.

I paid 19K for mine, but my MSP trade in was 12.5k, they don't have the best resell value.

They will come a few hundred off that price. Offer them 17.5k and wait a few days see if they bite. If not raise it a little. They have had a few of them for a long time now so its not like someone will snatch it up anytime soon.

I paid 31,898 USD back in 2001, the car was 3 years old and 50000 km then. No MSM, but a 1.6 L 110 HP basic...dont buy car in Norway...

Holy hell! That's expensive! Why on earth do cars cost so much there? I could buy an M3 here and surely for an extra 100,000USD get it cerified there..

Are any cars less expensive????

I got quoted 18k out the door from a dealer in orlando today =)
congrats..
I was briefly thinking about getting an MSM. Just not comfortable for me... I'll stick to my FSM

17.5 sure is a good deal for the MSM OTD....In Norway I'd imagine that the Taxes are way extreme...gotta love those socialsist ideals.

my dad reserved one before it came out. we paid 28k after taxes, registration, lojack, and all that other stuff. You're getting a great price.

Eh, I got my MS Miata for $19,200 after everything (tax, tag, title, ect...) back in January. I couldn't be happier.

little update. I got the msm tuesday. I got an even better deal than I previously mentioned. I got it at 18k out the door (after all fees and taxes) I made em bump my trade another grand, and got the GAP($500) policy thrown in for free. Had 10 miles on her when we rolled off the lot
