What are your favorite aspects of your CX-5?

My favorite aspect of this car is that it's been SO reliable!

I do all my own maintenance and repairs. After maintenance, I've not had ANY issues. ZERO!
This and it's just genuinely an enjoyable, engaging vehicle to drive...for it's vehicle class. It's got some competition now in the crossover space these days, but back in 2013 when I bought mine, the rest all drove like a boat, or a granny car.

The only package I didn't get on my 16 was called iActive. Included High Speed Auto Braking (which honestly kind of annoyed me...you want me to pay for safety features? Glad that trend died off).
It also included ACC. Didn't think I'd ever use it.
Recently got a Volvo with it...my god I use it all the time. It's a great feature.

That's one aspect of cruise control I dearly wish every car maker would do, standard, in lieu of the "dumb" cruise. Yes, it requires a couple of sensors up front, and an altered programming. Ideally, defaulting to ~3-4sec distance from the car ahead, IMO disallowing 2sec distance. But it's such a decent and relatively simple safety device that it could help everyone.

Experienced it in a Subaru Outback several years ago. Was useful, kept a safe distance, and was reliable. Found myself using it on every highway and faster roads, whenever there wasn't much traffic and "cruise" made sense.

My own 2016.5 CX-5 GT didn't come with the i-ActivSense option. Wish it had, if only for the distance-sending cruise control.

TBH.. 0-30 MPH cruise or whatever manufacturers call stop and go… is of only real interest to me these days. I’m either in gridlock or wide open roads. I have old school over 25 MPH radar cruise in my old ‘07 G35x and rarely use it
