What are the best HID kits?

I got some about 3 months ago but now the brightness has faded so much that they hardly light up the road. Price isn't a concern, I just want to know what is the best ones to get so the bulbs don't fade in 2 or 3 months. The ones I got were from Ebay so they had no warranty. I found this HID site which covers the bulbs for a year, but what color should I get? I want one that's really bright and still looks cool. This site like any other sites recommends 6000k? Is it true?

You can order from ddmtuning.com...they are the cheapest I've seen but customer service can be sketchy and IIRC they offer a lifetime warranty. I just bought set from v-leds.com. Price is $59.99 and a one year warranty. Sadly a ballast was defective within the first week but they had a replacement kit in my hands within a couple of weeks as well as emails updating me along the way.

6K will be white but more on the blue side. I prefer 4.3K or 4.5K as they offer the best useable light but 5K is good as well with just a tinge of blue.

It all depends on what color you want. around 5000k is pure white and as you go up in k you start to get a tint to the light. I have 5000k for my low beams and 10000k (pure blue) for my fog lights. the lower the k the brighter the light will be. Check out what ever site you are on to see there color chart and order from that, just to make sure you are getting what you want. Now when you ordered your HIDs from ebay, were they just the bulbs? Or was it the whole set?
