What are my shock options?

Haven't been in the market for parts in a while and was wondering if there were some new shocks available for the car that were absent when I took the car back to stock. I'm currently on coils but want to prep the car for D-stock so the coils have to go.

What options? Which is best?

I will be selling the coils as soon as they come off. Going to order the Konis prolly this week. Only 10k miles on them max

Why not just leave the coilovers on and change classes? If you're new to the sport, your best bet is to spend the money on seat time and then once you're committed/addicted to it, look to finding a class and the appropriate mods.

I rode in a car with Koni FSD's with stock springs, felt better of course. I know the Koni Sports will work too and are adjustable. But I've read/heard some Koni's leak.

As for Bilstein, always get good reviews. They might be a little more in price, but you can't really go wrong with them.

I wouldn't consider myself new to the sport. I've been karting since I was 12 and have been to Nationals for the past two years. This next year I want to try and trophy.

If so, I've heard that bilsteins are the way to go, and Koni's can't, or are more difficult, to be custom valved. Koni's can be re-valved and quite successfully. The Mazda 3 that placed 3rd at nationals in HS last rear ran on revalved Konis.

I ended going with the Koni's because they just came out with different ones specifically for the speed3 unlike the Bilsteins and Konis before
